Wanna come back to the game, trying to understand the pvp and alliances.

Hi,
I wanna comeback to the game because some of my friends just started playing.
I'm Daggerfall and they are Ebon. It seems like i can group with em for quest, but how does it work for pvp?
Will I be able to play and hunt with them?

You can pvp along side them for sure although they will take "splash" damage from any of your errant aoe skills, as you will from theirs; friendly fire essentially. You wouldn't be able to group with them so you'd have to be able to distinguish them from other "enemies". The biggest issue though will be that your alliance will be hostile towards them and theirs to you. You may also get various accusations of disloyalty from your faction if you get seen co-operating with them. These issues could be minimised by choosing to fight out of the way. It would be fine if you just wanted to pve along side them in cyrodiil, assuming you were careful with targeting. Joining them for large pvp battles could be problematic though.

I don't recomend you to play with them in pvp locations, try instead to create a char in their faction and grind or quest fast to reach their level.

You are basically enemies in pvp, and your skills hurt eachother - you don't even enter the Cyrodiil in the same location and have to ride up to meet eachother. Your alliance players will hurt them and the other way around, should you encounter any.

If any of you dies due to pvp encounters, you have to arrange a meeting spot and ride up to eachother again....
