Now go and look at their profiles and notice at the profile itself it all says the exact same date and even time, as yours shows.

Yeah, and look at everyone elses... and you will see their date says the same as yours including time... My guess is that is when they sent the batch of invite codes out to you, and your aniversary is when you actually signed up.
You can click this link https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/badge/anniversary-2 and look at the date you earned it last year, that should be the date you earn it this year...

I just randomly checked a few of them and 2 had start dates in August, 1 had a start date in July, and then 1 had the same date as OP. And all of the ones I checked just got their badges in the last 2 days.Because either that's not when you actually started...

Something weird is going on with the anniversary badges... And now that I look into it a bit, I realize that I got my 2 year badge on May 31st, while my 1 year badge was on April 17th (my actual forum signup date was April 17th 2014).
