ESO Sub Question

So quick story, my dad is a lifetime gamer, he is turning 65 and plays ESO like a champ. Got me playing vids at a young age...even though looking back 30 years I find out he just wanted me to take notes for him and draw maps for Dragon Warrior... .I feel used :(

But anywho, I really want to get him ESO+. I already have it, but he doesn't wanna spend the money because he has never done and sub and doesn't really care about it. However he talks more and more about the crafting bag and DLC's he hasn't bought yet.

Am I able to somehow get him ESO+ without having all of his account info? I kind of want to surprise the old man.

    This would probably require a call to customer service and not sure if they could / would do it. There's no built in way to gift a sub to someone.

    It is a two month code and it goes in like a credit card. I guess you could also use a pre paid visa card like you get at Walmart.

    If he's on Xbox or PS4, just get him a prepaid card. Done. If on PC go the prepaid credit card route.

    One day of losing crafting bags and I re-subbed. Quick.

    He is on PS4 with me. I think I might go the Amazon route and just give him codes every month, just wanted to try to have him be a bit more surprised.

    @ThePaleItalian ...very cool story about your pops...got my god son gaming at around 3 - mostly Disney infinity, but, every once in a while I'll let him run around as the werewolf and do some farming...

    lots of folks look down on getting their kids into gaming - really glad to hear your dad worked you into dragon warrior...

    Thank you!! Its a blast to play with him, even more so when my buddies join up and are like "how old" "you can still play" and then he wreaks them. lol.

    I played that and Final Fantasy, we stayed up late playing Contra and Sub Search. I still have a working SNES and NES. And the original Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy 3, Chrono Trigger and Lufia 2 on my SNES. Nothing beats the classics.

    He did get me into gaming and I really enjoyed it. But he always pushed me to be in sports an active outside as well. But now its a great way for me to unwind and enjoy myself.
