A small Insightful Question about Mount Sprinting.

This may sound strange but ever since launch I've had this feeling that my mount always travelled faster when pressing the sprint key over and over again, rather than holding it down. However, also when continually pressing rather than holding I feel my Stamina decreases faster. (As well as giving my sticky keys notifications

I'm not entirely sure if this is my imagination or an actual thing but I've always been certain of this being a thing. I could possibly be insane too, that's always a possibility.

I Don't suppose anyone has ever shared these insightful thoughts or knows that I am just really really dumb.

If you double tap the shift key and hold it, your mount will go faster but its stamina will be drained faster.
Also, you may have noticed that you can still gallop while out of stamina, however you can only use double tap (double speed) while you have stamina to spare.
