Do you think game performance will be better or worse when One Tamrial hits?

I made this because to discuss weather or not you think performance will be better or worse with one tamrial.
I personally think there will not be as much data hogging because they are just all they are doing is removing one through fifty faction zones/cadwells silver and just having the scaled version of the cadwells gold Zones, having us all play together. I do think they are doing this for performance and to make enough room for housing. But even though performance might be improved because of this there still will be cases of lag just not as bad as before and mainly when people are overcrowding an area and are also dueling.
Your thoughts do you think it will be better or worse comment below!.

Yes I do think there will be considerable improvement to performance do to the removal of all the cadwells broze and silver zones while just leaving in the cadwells gold zones

Yes I think there will be a small performance increase and but it will be worse in certain zones do to factors like dueling and so many people hogging those areas.

I think it will be slightly worse, especially on the first week, like it usually happens when a new major patch hits the live servers anyway.

(note: I also believe that performance hit will be mitigated after a few incremental patches as per usual, at least on pc)

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Well, so many folks patching the game, it could hurt performance but at the same time. The update itself will not be that big
only like three or four gigabytes at the least. So basically it won't take as long. Maybe an hour or less. Depending on download speeds.

I think it will be worse, especially in PvP. All those calculations of armor procs will do no good for the lag and issues we already cope with since patch 1.2.3.

If ESO follows it's trend, then the performance indeed will be worse.

But maybe I an wrong and we will see it for ourselves when it hits live. And I do hope I am wrong.

Where's my "it wont make a difference cause they're technically not changing anything that would change performance" option? The servers will have a cap and create a new instance of the same zone if there's too many people in one area just like it does now. There won't be any change. ZOS has already said this multiple times.

No I think Performance will be so extremely bad I can't even play the game.
Just look at how Cyrodil works currently with all three factions in it. Now this will pour over into the regular game for every area. Granted there won't be as many, but with all the server issues Zenimax is having lately, look at today for example, this One Tamriel is going to be one serious lagfest slideshow.

Having more people in a zone should not be a problem, we'll just get split up into different shards like we do now.

Dueling, however, has me a little worried. Dueling might bring in all the lag-inducing problems that can happen in Cyrodiil. I can imagine a situation where there are lots and lots of duels happening at the same time (say a tournament) and the zone starts to lag because of it.

there may be a cap but you have not taken into account the performance drop due to Duels (which is essentially "small scale" PvP in these zones now)

so there will undoubtedly be performance issues

No option for "basically the same" :(

Some areas will have a fps drop due to more people being in them that there are now, but areas get duplicated when there are too many people in it so it will probably be no worse than any other area like Rawl'kha, which isn't too bad for me.

Dueling will have almost no impact, since duels are not the same as 24 vs 24 man groups all spamming AoE on each other like in Cyrodiil. Honestly 12 man or less in Cyrodiil has no issues at all, so duels aren't even on the radar for performance.

    My 2 cents.

I don't think there will be any change. Population spikes due to fresh new update excluded.
