set gears after next patch ( no more gold ring?)

so im looking at the patch notes and i see that certain gear that drop right now in trials and going for a lot of gold in guild traders for example
silk of the sun ring
Necropontence ring
warlock ring
and more
these rings have a chances to drop in gold if you run them in vet. but know i see that for example silk of the sun does not drop in trials instead you have to go to
Overland
Stonefalls: Silks of the Sun, Coat of the Red Mountain, Shalk Exoskeleton

Dungeon bosses and mini bosses will now drop a set piece 100% of the time.
Mini bosses will drop either a hand, waist, or feet set piece.
Bosses will drop either a chest, shoulder, head or leg set piece.
The final Boss of a dungeon will drop weapons or jewelry.


Normal mode dungeon bosses will drop blue-quality items.
Veteran mode dungeon bosses will drop purple-quality items.

these new way of obtaining these set may make it easier to obtain, since you don't have to group up and run trial but how or you suppose to get a gold ring now.

hell ra and AA don't drop these sets anymore patch notes say these

is these right. if it is and you want a gold one im guessing you got to run and get one before the patch?

Gold Rings will be available for purchase from the Golden weekly merchant. There's a post that reveals the golden on PTS, and she was selling golden necro rings for 250k gold and 200k ap.

So say I'm going for the purple silks of the sun rings... is this saying it drops from the engine guardian in vet darkshade? Just trying to figure out what boss needs to die repeatedly to get them

You should farm dolmens in Stonefalls. From every dolmen you get a jewel form either Silks of the Sun, Coat of the Red Mountain or Shalk Exoskeleton and it can be green blue or purple.

I really wish they had been more specific about where these pieces drop from now. There's a lot to kill in any given area... But say purple is what I'm going after in any given set... where does this 100% drop from, the vet version of the undaunted dungeon for that area?

Dolmen farming is the best way to get your set jewelry now, if you are ok with purple instead of gold. The real kick in the nuts is that you are only going to get green/blue quality most of the time unless you have the treasure hunter CP passive, which requires a very non-optimal CP allocation for a lot of builds.
