New Skilline idea- Cannibalism leading up to new daedric curse

Yeah, its a squeamish thing but, they did have this in skyrim and most of the fallout games.
Basically this will be given if you eat a persons heart they can add a short questline into the vanilla zones that gives you a choice eat the corpse or don't. If you do eat the corpse you gain the skillline. Basically when you kill a foe you can click on them to feed.
This would be a passive skillline.

Passive
Devour
As a cannibal you are able to feed on the corpses of dead humanoids, this gives a 2 minute buff to regeneration
Hungry
You continue to hunger for flesh, temperarly giving you extra health stamina and magicka for one minute after you eat a corpse of a humaniod
Ravenous
your hunger begins to become unbearable requring you to eat more and more bodies. This increases the buff timer to one minute but gives you greater regen
Ravenous Savage
your hungry and sadistic ways basically increase your weapon damage by 8 for one minute after eating a corpse.
Wendigo
your cannibalism has changed you, by savagely changing into a beast like humaniod when you eat a corpse for one minute you change into a wendigo. (this form would not be as powerful as the werewolf but it would make your monstrous, basically making most npcs attack you on sight. It will last until you stop eatting corpses but it buffs your abilties by 8 precent and you gain powerful hand to hand attacks. They can balance it where its not op and can last longer then werewolf.

They could totally add in Wendigos, it would be a cool concept. It could fit into the lore. It would be interesting thats for sure. Of course they would not be as often seen as lycanthropy or vampirism but this would be a grind to get the last passive that can turn you into a wendigo.
They don't need to add the wendigo part but I would like to see it. But Just the cannibalism part would be fine. Also it would allow you to take part in bosmer culture if you wanted.

We Bosmer are already cannibals - roll a bosmer and eat people all you want. Also, you can jump off of really high things!

They don't have the ingame ablity to eat corpses. Its only lore that they do eat their dead and sometimes other races. But basically its fallen out of favor but there are traditionalists in valenwood.
But thats why they need to add a skillline for it. Its okay if they only just add cannibalism with a few passives, without the wendigo passive, which gives a transformation. But I would really like to see the wendigos it would add something new. But it would take eatting a lot of corpses to earn that.

Functionally, maybe out of place, but I'm just going to leave this here:
    http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Namira
Namira, or Namiira, the Lady of Decay, is the Daedric Prince whose sphere is the ancient darkness. She is known as the Spirit Daedra, ruler of sundry dark and shadowy spirits, and is often associated with spiders, insects, slugs, and other repulsive creatures which inspire mortals with an instinctive revulsion. Namira also appears to be associated with beggars and the beggaring gifts of disease, pity and disregard.

Namira is also called the Great Darkness, and is thought by the Khajiit to bear a connection with Lorkhan. Namira's followers keep to themselves, preferring to live peacefully in dark and squalid conditions, though they will react violently at any attempts to "save" them from their lifestyles. Their behavior has even involved ritualistic murder and cannibalism. Her enemy is Ebonarm and her summoning day is Marukh's Day. Her followers and priests of Arkay are often at odds. Namira and her shadowy endeavors are often recognized to bear some association with eternity. Her realm, the Scuttling Void, is an eternal dimension about which little is known other than its name.

How about we stop adding ethically questionable skill lines and give something to lawful characters for a change?

I am sure they will give dlc that adds things to do for lawful characters, but this is something I am asking for them to possibly consider add into the main game itself. Plus it would be epic if they did this.

There are a few problems with this idea anyhow.

    One, it's distasteful.
Two, we already have a skill line relying on corpse eating.
Three, it would have to be directly connected with Namira, so it would require proper lore buildup. And if we get Namira worship, shouldn't we also get all Daedric Princes eventually? Other deities? It would quickly become too expansive.

Ultimately, I don't care if we have a corpse eating animation for RPers, but adding its own skill line is an overkill.

This. And even though I hate bringing up a "skyrim " concept(since I rarely see the older games mentioned. ) but some kind of Dawnguard addition would be great. Granted it couldn't be actual dawnguard, but a similar group (to the second group. 1st were just jailers) hunting down vamps, ww, etc.

yeah, I know it's a thing in lore and all but
honestly though ESO is very, very lighthearted in comparison to the rest of the series. I mean, it says something that when they added pretty tame cinematic kill cams with Dark Brotherhood, at least a few people were freaked out a bit by how violent the tone suddenly was

ugh lord, this is so weird to talk about. triggered triggered triggered

putting cannibalism in the game would be such a ridiculous and out of place shift in tone. Add to the fact it just wouldn't really work in a game this fast paced; can't really take advantage of it mid combat, since every second counts, and when you're stopping every fight to have a snack I'm sure it'll get annoying for groups, and any buffs you even earn wouldn't even last long enough to be worth anything if they were to be balanced half decently

Gross - we should be looking at some nicer skill lines for a change instead of murder, cannibalism and thievery.

Maybe a Good Samaritan skill line where you progress by helping people find things or make things, etc.
Possibly a Medicinal Aid or Combat Aid skill line where you progress by healing, saving, defending or resurrecting people.

The passives could be decreased resurrection times or increased healing done or reduce costs of repairs - things that hel you and your team rather than kill and maim the opponents.

Yeah, you've got a point there. There are actually quite a few elements of previous TES games that are downright dark, and there's very little in ESO that compares.

It appears the dissenters are already all over this thread ... can't embrace new ideas I guess (no matter how gross they appear to be).

I agree more good samaritan skill lines or questing a la "Knights of the Nine" would be nice ... but there are other existing threads for those.

Well, I know at some point they will add more content for Knights and people that want more holy good and moral dlcs. But yeah they should add more things, like knights of the eight, paladins and all that. But yeah cannibalism should be included as well. They need to give options for everything. It gives players choices and allows them to make the character or characters they want to be and not force people to play a certain style.

I do think they should added the option to side with the iron wheel or order of the hour, but reason why they did not is because they want each of the dlcs to end the same way. They want questlines to mostly end the same, with some adding options for different choices its easier for them.If they do a dlc like Dawnguard in elder scrolls skyrim most likely they will give two different sides. But no one would pretty much know the outcome of that and the ending would be the same. Its how Bethesda does things now and I assume that Zenimax is following that example. It makes it much easier on them.
