The bounty system needs reworked

As it stands the bounty system of ESO doesn't match the bounty system of any previous Elder Scrolls game. In previous games if someone witnessed your crime then killing them would remove your bounty. This made sense. If your witness is dead they can't report your crime to anyone. In ESO killing the witness of your crime not only doesn't remove your bounty, it adds to it. It's completely illogical.

Worse still, the guards in ESO aren't just difficult like in every other game, they're immortal. They literally cannot be killed.

The Dark Brotherhood were my favorite part of Oblivion and Skyrim. I replayed through them more times than you could count, and they were the only thing I actually did in many a playthrough. I've been playing ESO for a bit over 2 months now and I've held off on doing any DLC quests. My 3 month ESO+ sub runs out on the 21st and I'd already planned on quitting the game by then (for a whole multitude of reasons I won't bother getting into here), if not earlier, but I at least wanted to go through the Dark Brotherhood first. I just tried it.

I'm not usually one to whine on the forums about something but ZOS has successfully made the Dark Brotherhood in an Elder Scrolls game not even fun. It's so absurd it's unthinkable. Doing Dark Brotherhood contracts and quests with the bounty system as it stands is so bad that I have literally just stopped what I was doing and logged out. I quit.
