    You'll upset a lot of trials guilds. Arrow spray is key in some parts to lock everything down. But in pvp yes it should have a cool down.

    Talons doesn't matter to me cause it requires fairly close range, but bombard in pvp is way to annoying.

    What needs fixed is player CC immunity.
    A player should not be locked in place over and over again without immunity for x seconds like there is supposed to be.
    This would benefit PvE as well.

    No, I disagree. Sure roots being spammed is incredibly frustrating, even more so to magicka users. However, roots are the only strong counter to zerg balls, 1v1 Bombard is pretty much useless, you will hardly be able to consistently land it and the opponent does not really need to worry about being stuck. It is in the situation where large numbers are stacked that Bombard shines and provides a direct counter to their rush.

    My idea was, that roots can not be dodged ( and can't be reapplied for the duration). But after the effect ends, you gain immunity for 10 seconds.

    This makes the individual ability stronger, but prevents spamming. Everyone wins with this.
    Same should apply to snares, hands down the most potent CC in pvp

    Out of curiosity - this doesn't necessarily address the OP; I'm just wondering here - let's say person A jumps off a wall or something. Wall's not high enough that it'll kill them, but high enough that the fall will take some time. Person B who's standing on the wall they just jumped off hits them with bombard.

    What happens to person A? Do they lose all forward momentum and just drop like a rock straight down? Or does the root not take effect until the land? Or do they just not get rooted?

    If they can't get rooted in the air it would seem that a tactic for avoiding bombard's root would simply be to keep jumping all the time.

    Yeah... Roots definitely need some way to be resisted for a short time. There should be some windows because right now fighting against mag DKs is like being perma rooted roll/mist out of it and you are rooted back again and again and again... Dunno, make cc immunity work with that or just increase cost of the next root (for the root duration) like with BE so it wont be spammed without any thinking.

    If they can seperate the effects between PvE and PvP - yes, they definitely should. Same way Ambush/Lotus has different effects in PvP - why can't all others? Makes no sense.

    Two hander forward momemtum gives you snare and root immunity for 8 seconds. Medium armor shuffle removes snares and roots and gives immunity to them for .5 to 3.5 seconds. Purge removes roots and snares. You have options. Either use them or stop complaining.

    But if roots get immunity, I will never be able to laugh at the people that die to my mDK's Standard of Might (I killed 3 people just today by rooting them continuously in the Standard)

    Magica resistance to roots and snares? And dont try to tell me mist form, you cant attack or do anything except of moving while in mist form, and in the moment it ends you are snared again. So give us some kind of immunity skill or make that cc immunity works with that, I dont see any meritoric reasons why not to do this.

    We're talking about cooldowns in this thread. Purge does nothing, only vampires and stamina builds get brief immunity.

    purge cost like 4k mag+ when you have people spammin ice staff root on top of everything like bombard you just purge to get instantly rooted again its just wasting magic if anything
