Werewolf needs love

Okay I love being a werewolf but I feel like werewolf gets the short end of the stick Vamps can use their skills and passives while I have to slot werewolf to get just a little bit stam regen the plus the werewolf ultimate cost way more than bats and I'm not bashing vampires I have a vamp too I'm just saying werewolves should get the same love vamps get

    Naw, werewolves get no negatives while in human form, and can be extremely powerful in form. They are pretty solid if they can fix the bugs/ a couple bad skill mechanics that they have.

    With the right build (stamina build with good weapon damage & crit, and obviously skill points in all WW passives and using all of the active skills) popping into werewolf form is super powerful, and as long as there are plenty of targets around you can stay in WW form indefinitely.

    Yeah, it used to be bad. It's not anymore. It hasn't been bad for quite some time.

    I agree, werewolves have a right to love and marry just like the humans and mer do!!!

    But in all seriousness, the last time I played (about a month ago) werewolves seemed pretty fine to me. If they get buffed much more then they would become too overpowered, especially since Zeni seems to have a thing for making things either too weak or too strong, often with little in between :P

    Werewolves just need worm medicine, and maybe antibiotics... They will eat anything!
    Oh, and flea/tick powder. and does group leader have ta clean up after after a big fight/meal?

    Werewolfs have not downsides when in human form, while vampires have (fire, health regeneration). Somehow we have to balance for that.

    I'd like to see some alternative wereforms like a wereboar, werelion, werecroc, werebear, etc. I realize the art team might not want to dedicate the time to it, and perhaps the devs would want to make each one unique, but seriously how cool would it be?

    Werewolf is allready really powerfull for the niche it is in, Stam DPS, who are allready the cream of the crop right now. if anything, vampire needs love because the passives and bonuses it gives have not been worth it for a loooooooooooooong time.

    Werewolf is fine the way it is.. Last thing I want is to be taking poison damage while not in werewolf form.

    I always thought werewolf should get like 20% of the ww passives in human form and take like 10% of the poison damage.

    So werewolf seems very strong in PvP but I'm having trouble sustaining stamina. Any tips? Am I in a hole already because I use heavy armor and therefore have lower natural stamina regen?

    Let me lay out the comparison
      Passives
      [*] Vamp trades +10 regen for +15%flame damage done to you & -25% hp regen
      [*] WW trades an ultimate slot for +15% regen
      Resistances/damage done
      [*] Vamps trades up to 33% reduction in damage done to you at under 50% health for -20% flame damage done to you &-50% hp regen
      [*] WW trades transformation in form (can't access non-WW skills) for +18%weapon damage stat &+100%stam from Heavy Attacks


      Considering all passives in either line and most people being in stage 4 vampirism. You have:
      Vampire
      1. +10% magicka regen (good)
      2. +10% stamina regen (good)
      3. -50% health regen *all the time (bad)
      4. up to +33% damage reduction when under 50% (good)
      5. only has magicka based heals (depends)
      6. +25% fire damage done to you *all the time (bad)
      7. No speed penalty in stealth (good)
      8. -25% vampire skill cost reduction (good)
      9. Full time access to all skills all the time (good)
        Vamp Skills
      10. Unbreakable stealth ultimate PBAOE or PBAOE heals
      11. channel heal: recover 15 ultimate over 3 s or +10% movement speed for 20s
      12. +75% resist, blocks healing and magicka regen: +30% movement speed (will stack with channel) or does magicka PBAOE
      vs

      WW
      1. +15% stamina regen *while transformation slotted (good)
      2. +18% weapon damage *while in transformation (good)
      3. +100% stamina from heavy attacks *while in transformation (good)
      4. +9996 Spell and Physical resist *while in transformation (good)
      5. +time in WW form and -ultimate cost for transformation *while transformation slotted (good)

      7. cannot access non-WW skills in WW form (bad...kinda)

        WW skill trades
      9. bleed: +bleed damage or 2 pets
      10. AOE or +time in WW for each use
      11. +weapon damage or magicka heal dot
      12. fear: fear AOE at target or group major brutality bonus
      13. knockdown: synergy for group +damage light attacks (increases bleed skill) or +damage to feared enemy (works with fear skill)
      14. -healing recieved to target or stamina heal
        Other benefits
      15. 3 armor sets dedicated to improving life in WW form

      I think when you lay it out, it's pretty easy to see vamps have to trade the entire time and center yourself around being a vampire, while WW gets to choose when they trade. When WW trades, it only gets bonuses for the only negative of an Ultimate slot on one bar (after update 5 you don't!

      There is exactly 2 skills in the Vampire line that don't have to trade for a negative aspect of within it's on skill and one of them is a channel and the other is an ultimate (takes an ultimate slot) that is very powerful, but is PB vs something like meteor that can be aimed with an AOE.

      The only true benefit to Vamp is you really get an opportunity to mitigate damage if you minimize your negatives. Unfortunately that means Dunmer, Breton, and Nord make the best vamps for that reason. Khajiit & Bosmer also make great Vamps for the stealth trait. The other side benefit is you can be magicka and stamina while a vampire while WW leans very heavily to stamina although you can maybe hybrid it (but then have those issues).

      It's pretty close, but a WW that knows what he is doing is insane while in WW form and doesn't have to deal with negatives when it's not convenient. Vamps have an entire fighter guild skill line that can hurt them more 100% of the time, in addition to being vunerable to the most common staff and elemental spell damage type, fire, 100% of the time.

      Jokes aside, I can seriously wreck faces in WW form.
      Only downside is that I almost definitely will get killed after I take 4 or 5 of them with me.

      You've got to be johnny-on-the-spot with the fears and DoT, pounce around to avoid as much CC as you can, and be prepared to eventually bite it because you make yourself a huge target and everyone wants to take the wolf down.

      The only problems I have with werewolf at the moment are:
      The fear ability, which still seems to have a cast time making it useless in most PvP situations where a fear without a cast time, like the nightblade one, shines.
      The heal, which for some reason is still based in magicka and scales with magicka, even though the entire purpose of the werewolf is to be stamina based.

      Werewolves are really squishy in PvP since they introduced poisons, but the trouble that gives could easily be solved by fixing the two skills mentioned above.

      I don't really think werewolf needs a buff, but I would like to see the fear and heal skills fixed as they have been pretty useless the entire time, at least in PvP.

      Most of the times I've seen someone successfully going 1vX in Imperial City that person has been a werewolf. Mind you, I haven't been hanging out in any PVP areas since poisons got added to the game, so that might have had a significant effect on the viability of werewolves in PVP.

      My only problem with the WW form is that the time is so short. I want to be a WW longer. Maybe freeze the timer when in combat, and make us have to rush when out of combat?

      Also, on the list of pros/cons you forgot the stun effect that we impart on ourselves during transformation to and from WW.

      When you've got all of the passives you can stay in WW form indefinitely until you run out of targets.

      I'm not very good at PvP but the only fight I've won on my own was killing a werewolf and its dire wolves... Also, I am a vampire

      I feel like the heal should be stam and the fear should be mag. They seem backwards to me.
