Champion point increase

So with the latest patch there has been an increase in total champion points you can spend '531' when I logged in today I was still at the same champion points that I was pre-patch (currently I am 326). But I thought it still took the same amount of exp to get to 531 than 501. They said they changed the curve of exp so lower champions points require even less. Shouldn't I be 356 if they increased it by 30.

No. They've increased the CAP by 30 points, not the amount of CP everyone has.

The curve changes, but it's not retroactive. You stay at your current level but will require slightly less XP per point now compared to what it was before because you're 30 points further behind the new current cap than you were previously.
