Update 12. Masterpiece of marketing ?

So with update 12 we'll get 17 (!) new monster masks. 17 new monster masks and 17 new monster shoulders. Atm we have 12 monster sets so in update 12 we'll have 29 of them
Each week we get 7 dailys dungeons but 4 of them are DLC dungeons . Those 4 dungeons give 2 gold keys each when other 3 gives 1 key. So player that have DLC or ESO+ can get 11 keys per week player who dont can get 3.

So with 17 new monster sets and with 100% chance to get mask from boss only problem that left is to get shoulder. Player with DLC have 11/29 (~38%) chance to get shoulder he needs player who dont have 3/29 (~10%) chance, That's almost 4 times more for people who have DLC acces.

According to fresh news, pack with all DLC's will include 4 of them for around 5500 crowns and will not include Shadow of the Hist DLC which have 2 of dungeons that are i each week dailys list.
So all DLC's will cost 7k crowns or ESO+ acces , or atleast 4k crowns if You want to have acces to dungeons DLC's. With obvious hype that will be around new monster sets that's rain of moneys.

I dont even mention about loot crates which are known to be profitable.

I leave conclussion to everyone private opinion.

No, it's changing with update 12. dlc dungeons will be from a separate undaunted quest giver.

How can it be a masterpiece of marketing if they didn't announce it to gaming news sites? Only people who follow the game know about it, this is not reaching possible new players.

Update is in October. There is plenty of times to spread the news.

A little teaser about update 12 was released. You act like thats all they will say for the upcoming update. Obviously when the patch is about to drop they will do their entire ad campaign promoting one Tamriel and and the rest of the update

They'll be three quest givers but one will be a dlc only quest giver. If you have all the dlc then you will be able to take three pledges each day and if you have no dlc you will only be able to take two.

So still DLC owners will get 15-21 gold keys (depends if it'll be DLC dung each day or only 4 days per week) and non DLC owners 7 gold keys per week.

No, so it's completely changing. Every vet dungeon will give two keys upon completion and normal dungeons will give one. you can choose to do the normal or veteran. Every key is the same, no more silver and gold. So someone with no dlc can get four keys a day and person with all the dlc can get six. So they get one third extra for having all the dlc.

SO it's 28 gold keys per week for someone who dont have DLC and 42 for someone who have it.

    They're also separating the chests.

One chest will drop shoulders from one group of dungeons.
Another chest will drop shoulders from another group.
And another chest will drop shoulders from the DLC dungeons.

So if you're looking for a shoulder for a particular set, you're not reaching into the full pool of 29 masks.

so get dlc or sub. i dont get your point. you think they should just release everything for free so its "fair" for people who dont want support the game with money? your never going to get all the advantages of all the new content without the content, and why would you?

That part is unclear; I guess we'll know for sure later.

Also, your first post is completely off the mark. The current vet pledge cycle is a preset 12-day non-random cycle, with 4 days of DLC pledges. Not 4 in 7, but 4 in 12. In any case, they're making it much easier to get the monster sets and making it possible for you to home in on a particular set by splitting up the shoulder chests.

All of these are unequivocally good changes. Please take off your tinfoil hat.
