RNG - In Dire Need of Maelstrom Daggers/Axes

What are some rituals you all perform prior to opening the final Veteran Maelstrom Arena chest? Those strange traditions you uphold to improve your chances of favorable loot?

I have run vMA well over 100 times and earned tons of Maelstrom weapons from the weekly leaderboard rewards. Despite my efforts, I have made no progress toward my main goal. (deconned ~50 weapons and stashed another 20)

All I want is to have Maelstrom Dual Wield. 2 Axes/Daggers I can use. Not even one has dropped in all my time of playing ESO.

So please help me.

I just completed vMA in First Person on my Stam Sorc and didn't get one. I've kowtowed before the chest. I bowed before Voriak Solkyn (wasting valuable DPS time)...... I need some time-tested rituals to save me from this torture.

Write an angry email to ZoS about how terrible your life is, how you had a crappy childhood, that none of your dreams come true, etc.

I hear they're suckers for that kind of stuff.

I do feel bad for you. If it makes you feel any better here are two clips where I get Voriak to zero and she doesn't die.

You see... last week I completed vMA for my very first time, dreaming about getting Inferno Staff with a nice trait for my MagSorc. And what I got was nirnhoned Maelstrom Dagger - no use for me. I would give it to you if I could.

If it makes you feel better, I play mag class and all I get are maelstrom daggers and axes in perfect traits ..... I have no use of such things. I want my inferno staff

Same here... so apparently the game detects what is the most useless weapon for you and just give it to you ;-)

Aaaaah, the secret is revealed: All you have to do before opening the chest is RESPECC from Stam to Mag or vice versa (with crown store respecc of course) and put your skill bars full with skills you dont use and BOOM: there is what you want.

And to put extra salt in the wound.. if you decon that gold maelstrom weapon, you're lucky to get 1 rubedite ore out of it.

I might actually try this.

Atm I'm running vDSA and think I'll use Master Daggers now since they actually have a drop rate thanks to the other three players I run with (game can't detect it's me and deny the drop!)

The last boss always requires another hit after reaching 0 health to kill it.

@Toast_STS You didn't kill the summoner while he was summoning. Gotta kill that sucker. Solkyn won't die unless you do that. Always works.

That wasn't what stopped him the boss seemed like it had all the ghost before he died.If the boss have all 3 ghost he won't die.
