Changes to Bombard/Acid/Arrow Spray

The bow skill line Bombard seems to have been changed, it no longer 'Roots' but 'Immobilises' also it will no longer immobilise snared enemies.. :(
Not fair!! my play style was reliant on this.. snare your enemy in razor caltrops then root them and hit them with acid spray or biting jabs..
I can barely survive in Cyrodiil at the moment but had fun with the above technique.. it was perfect for stopping people from entering a keep during siege.

They announced this change a long while ago. You can say that the PvP crowd got this one changed, it was pretty OP for zergs once they released poisons.

The problem was, when combined with the stam increase cost poison two or more players could perma lock players.

It won't root them if they are snared? Thats dumb. Guess they couldn't fix the skill without changing it.

Instead of root immunity we got a broken Bombard. Nice. In every situtation where Bombard was needed, caltrops and other snares are present making the morph useless.

As much as i like the change, it really sucks how easy it is for numbers to roll into a keep and take it now.

What do you mean by 'fix' was it broken?

Zergs didn't like having disadvantages to being zergs.

Zergs were the worst for it. They could afford to have a guy just spamming that.

Oh well, I got a skill point refunded after the update so maybe it was compensation... :D

Although I loved permanent rooting zergs it was a bit much. I think this a fair balance.

Yes it was broken. If 2 or more people used this it would make it so people couldn't dodge roll out of it.
