Before you are even aware of what's going on in the new patch the newer one is already on PTS and with new content comes new bugs and issues so it get very difficult of course to fix all the old and new bugs in the game and it builds up. They really need to slow down on new content and work on making the older stuff works as smooth as possible. I know they won't be making as much money for while, but this is the only respectful thing to do to your customers.

The way things are going now is so disrespectful and shameful from ZOS, everything is about $$$ and screw the customers.

Or just run more internal QA. Sometimes the whole PTS seems kind of pointless, since many issues identified there go untouched to live.

Dont need new content need what we already have fixing.... so much broken, bugged content, exploits, cheating the list goes on and on, and increases every patch and hot fix its getting ridiculous and thats without Wrothgar which is paid for content that devs are actively informing players to stay away from on some platforms.

People will not pay for a broken game, whether it has new things in it or not broken is broken

Its like having a puncture on your car tyre, you can keep inflating it and it will 'get you by' BUT if not fixed eventually it will fail and also have a high probability to cause even more serious problems as a result.

If I can....my opinion is that 90% of all old bugs, big and small need to be resolved in all platforms for One Tamriel.

Then it's manageable for ZOS support.

I'd imagine the list of bugs is in excess of 1,000 specific bugs at this point that are unresolved.

I'm stoked for player housing. If done right, it will save the game for me.

In understanding some may be new to MMOs, this is a business and as such they need to have revenue to not only support the game but also justify continuing the game. New content is required for this or players leave, as they did on PC last year.

Additionally, different teams work on finding the cause of bugs and fixing them and other teams work on creating new content. They always have teams working on fixing bugs and by every measurement many, many bugs have been fixed in this game so far.

Finally, and most important, every MMO without exception has bugs. Every MMO without exception has bugs that never get fixed, even years later they persist. Some bugs take longer to deter in the issue and solution. Some bugs will never get fixed regardless.

It's life in an MMO. Find s bug and /bug it.
    Really, idk

They should start releasing content. Thieves guild was small. DB even smaller. Last one? Just 2 new dungeons and new motif grind, shoved into existing quests? I wouldn't even call that relevant content. And it toock them months to "develop" this meager DLC. Including all the ignored bug reports from PTS...Or ignoring the ongoing cheating. Or ignoring consoles problems. That's Wrothgar, a huge area with tons of real content. Don't go there because we really *** it up...

Sorry but I have to jump in here....

If you believe it's O K to release content that's brings on new problems and the existing problems are largely left in the game....this is a poor business model that will result in the game ending.

There is a possibility to have so many bugs that the teams in charge of bugs can't actually fix them due to the increasing complexity of fixing something because it touches more and more items.

Anyone who supports this is long term supporting a drastic fall in the game they like.
It's very important to slow down in order to provide quality over quantity.

There are lots of things they can add that continue to make them money and they've done this by requiring subs for QoL features. They also have crown sales....these two generate revenue, not actually releasing dlc.

I wouldn't mind getting something like just new dungeons which would help farm sets at 160 and the rest bug fixes and class balance.

Instead of new dungeons I think they could also update trials, and old dungeons to have normal, vet and Shadow of the Hist level. Also, make craglorn quests part of the group finder.

But yeah, I'm all for some base game patches with enhanced existing content and a small number of additions which can be put as base game patches, character store items, or ESO+ content in order to get the game to a state where gameplay changes are less drastic at updates and the bugs are less likely to occur because the base game isn't changing as much.

Also, this would let them work on a bigger update slower which would hopefully be a wrothgar level update while doing the number 1 thing we are all requesting. A better working game.

No new content? MAKE MOAR CONTENT!

Lots of new content? STOP MAKING CONTENT!

    This is just ridiculous.
You're talking about two separate divisions within the company. You want to shut one down?

Have you ever played other MMO's? They absolutely chock-full of bugs. Some go unfixed for a decade or more. It's just the way it is. Contrary to what most people believe not everything done on a computer is ticking a box in a settings menu. Fixing bug certainly isn't. The man reasons bugs happen is unintended consequences of logic in the code. If it's unintended, that means you then have to go back and find it...sometimes have no idea where to look.

I get that you need to be outraged at something. Go watch the news...might be more productive.
