Here is what the dye looks like, sorry they are not the best screen shots.

I am happy to say that I will no longer be cutting the purses of every civilian I see in Tamriel. Your homes, as well as safeboxes, will no longer be fair game to me and my thieving ways. As of tomorrow, I will have finally achieved the success and fashion style of the Black Market Mogul!

Technically, took over a year but I have been "grinding" it out for about 45 days. I have only been fencing green or blue items (and the rare purple). Only being able to sell 140 items, I would sell an average of 20k worth of goods a day.

Nice Job! I just found out about the achievement to fence 4000 gold at each outlaw refuge. That will help with the bigger one.

I'd say Alliance War grind is the worst, but I will freely admit it took me like, two months at about 2 hours a day to get that Contraband Violet. I just wish it looked better on more armor types. Congrats, though!

I did that for a year and got to 550,000.

I'm In the same boat as op. I am nearly done with all achievements in the game, and this is my last one under the justice tab.

I have been grinding for the past two weeks, every day getting all 140 items sold. I don't only do green and blue but about 30% white as well. I'm already to 677k!

I did the math and I'm about 80-85 days away, that's if I only fence white items (140 a day) so I feel I will have the job done in around 65-70 days.

Have you googled the color? It's one of the only ones with a sheen and is really deep purple. I can't wait!

We get titles for many many things, minuscule things in comparison to this. It should TOTALLY 100% have a title. It's incredibly time consuming and takes a ton of dedication.

Same with researching all 9 traits and having all crafting achievements should reward you a master crafter title. It's absurd these don't exist.

For those that want detailed information:

You can only fence up to 140 items each day. In order to get this achievement in a timely manner, you should only fence green items (100g) and blue items (250g).

In order to get a bunch of green and blue items, you thieve lockboxes and pickpocket medium-hard targets. Lockboxes have a 10 minute respawn timer. So the strategy is to go to a city, get all of the lockboxes, travel to another city, get all the lockboxes, and then the boxes in the first city will have respawned, and repeat.

When I did this achievement, I ran a three city route twice daily. I would get all the lockboxes in three cities, fence my items, and repeat. My average time of completing this was ~45 minutes. I averaged 23k in fenced items per day. If you do the math, with my average daily fence amount, it took a total of 44 days to get the achievement. Including a few days where I didn't do my routine, it actually took me two dedicated months of farming to get this achievement.

Alterations:
You can speed up the process by only fencing blue items. If you fence 140 blue items, you get 35k fenced gold each day (plus a few k more from the fencing passive). This means it will only take you 28 days to get the achievement. HOWEVER, getting 140 blue items takes quite a long time- I would estimate at least two hours using my method. Totally not worth it in my opinion.

BTW, the dye is AWESOME.

There is the passive from TG- haggle. Make sure to get that. The boost from there helps too ...saving a few days

It is not so bad. I am the first to get it in ESO all (Nobody has out posted me yet or put me next to someone who can, look me up if you want) and have it on a few alts. This was when justice system was vanilla an before Thieves Guild too I might add. It can be done in three weeks or less and you get rich in the process if you are a half decent thief.

Got this achievement last night . Around 3 weeks ago, I was around 350,000 stolen, but got a tip about a prime location with around 15 lockboxes that spawn every few minutes. Also, there are very few guards and easy escape routes. It took me about an hour/day to steal 150-200 green, blue, and a few purple items. I netted anywhere from 20k to 40+k everyday, depending on the number of blues and purples. Went from 4.6 million to 5.5 million gold in the last 3 weeks, and it would have been more, but I spent a big chunk on motifs. I got at least 10k gold daily just from opening the lockboxes, well worth the price of a few stacks of lockpicks. I'm not about to reveal this location....don't ask. There are a few regulars who grind there, and I see this as an easy way to afford all the new motifs, and a much easier grind. I won't spoil this for myself and the others, sorry.

I will offer a few tips: 3 piece Nightshade and 5 piece Shadow Dancer to make it faster and easier to sneak. Max passives on Lockpicking, Haggle (only 7% now, but 10% will speed this achievement by.......10% ), Bounty reduction, Clemency. You will get caught sometimes, and the last two passives will keep you from bleeding your gold into bounties and from having a bagful of stolen items removed. Also, use the Blade of Woe liberally to remove witnesses quickly rather than waiting for them to turn their back. As an added bonus, Tainted Blood is a high priced style mat you can sell.
