Our community is horrible. Most sites and wikias are from 2014/15, forum full of moaners and negative energy the last thing is a thank you.

You must be thinking of TES community but definitely not the ESO community.

Just go look at the TES Legends videos on Bethesda's Youtube channel, read a few of the comments. The TES community is pretty bad too. One of the most entitled and whiny fandoms I've ever seen.

I don't think any of that is specific to TES or ESO or anything else...it's this new crop of gamers.
They want instant gratification, they want it to be easy, they don't want to pay for it, etc.

All one has to do is look at all the 'ZOS NOTICE ME!!!!' threads.

Actually in game the community is pretty great.

The ESO Subreddit is pretty great.

It's only here that most of the shouting goes on.

And not even here it is too bad, it is ok for a game forum IMO, more on the better than on the worse side of average.
