@ZOS, Please Bring Us Vvardenfell in One Piece

If you guys could bring back Vvardenfell in one zone just like in original Morrowind, it would be the most exciting, impressive and head-turning action taken by ZOS after launch. It will bring ESO back to the news headlines of gaming websites and will incite a lot of older TES fans' nostalgia and bring them back to this game. However, if you people cut Vvardenfell into pieces, it would hurt again ESO's reputation as a TES game.

Vvardenfell is not as big as it is on Bethesda maps of Tamriel, so it could eventually be a zone which is as big as Cyrrodil, what would be quite awesome - House Hlaalu, here I come again, ready to take care of your "business". And I will happily abandon the Dark Brotherhood for the Morag Tong - (I'll keep the blade of woe of course, lawfulness has it's limits  )

I don't think that releasing it in parts will really make that much of a difference.

BGS spent years building Vvardenfell the first time, with Elder Scrolls 3. ZOS is spending months, and has a smaller team. If anything, this will be the more important factor in how well it meets expectations.

As I have said before, ZOS is taking a huge risk trying to introduce Vvardenfell to ESO. They are treading on sacred ground that is more Holy than Cyrodiil and Skyrim combined. It is with these people that you will really get head-turning and excitement. In their eyes, I expect that it will be far easier for ZOS to mess it up than to get it right. ZOS wins with this group if they meet and exceed expectations. If they do their standard "good enough" approach, they won't get these heads turning.

It will go a long way to making me happy if they can faithfully deliver a Vvardenfell that is a proper 2nd Era precursor to what happens in the 3rd Era. If they can faithfully represent the geographic, political, and cultural history of the island, this will be a huge step is defusing the critics. Vvardenfell in the mid 2nd Era has no Imperial influence, and should have a much larger Ashlander influence. I expect that the Great Houses will not be as influential as they were in the 3rd Era, either.

Once they get that in place, I would really like it to be more than a remake of Orsinium. I'd like to see something more than Orsinium. On the order of Shivering Isles or Far Harbor, but with a reason to come back, other than the daily constitutional.

This game is set, what was it again, a 1000 years orso before morrowind the game, so even if they add it in eso, you won't recognize it, its mostly a wasteland with a few dunmer outposts
On the other hand, Google skywind, now that's gonna be epic

What better way to rejoin Great House Hlaalu than by joining Great House Hlaalu?

I can't wait to run around Vvardenfell again. Add Player Housing and I'm set!

I agree, but I fail to understand why anyone would think that Vvardenfell would be split into several zones. All datamined content suggests that of Vvardenfell except for Red Mountain and possibly Sheogorad will be one zone.

It's because of what u just said. Cut Red Mountain area and Sheogorad out, u got at least 2 zones for Vvardenfell. Red Mountain area including Ad'ruhn is like at least one third of Vvardenfell.

They could always take the Craglorn approach and add on new areas while maintaining a single zone. There's plenty of mountain ranges on Vvardenfell to create paywalls lol.

What do u mean by Craglorn approach? Craglorn is a one single zone right?

They released it in two parts. Lower Craglorn was first, followed by Upper Craglorn.

Don't forget that BGS took awhile 'cause they had to design it from scratch. While ZOS is in luck, the design is already made. All they need is to build it with a few minor alterations. But Please ZOS do Vvardenfell justice, it needs to look and sound like Morrowind. The distant Silt strider sound is more iconic then some flabby jelly fish that flies, just shows ZOS's idea of iconic Elder Scrolls is wonky.

I'll be impressed if they DON'T pull as many dishonest moves as possible to milk money from us with Vvardenfell.

An initial price of 3000-3500 Crowns would be about correct. For the whole Zone.

Vvardenfell is 100% enough to bring ESO into the spotlight of many gaming sites. Morrowind was incredible and fans would come back to see it in ESO's time.
    Don't mess it up ZOS!

I'm convinced that Red Mountain won't be made into its own zone. It will almost certanly be part of the Vvardenfell zone, but unaccessable to players, or only accessable during a specific quest.
