3 Questions about crafted gear for a gankblade.

OK, I'm thinking about doing something crafty with my stamblade, but I'm not sure if it'll work.

I considering crafting him 2 swords with 3 armour pieces from the Night Mother's Gaze set, and a bow with 4 armour pieces from the Clever Alchemist set.
Front bar gives 5 NMG 4 CA, back bar gives 3 NMG 5CA.

Question 1:
If I drink a potion on the back bar then switch to the front bar, will I still have the 15 second damage buff from CA or will the buff vanish when I lose the 5th armour piece by bar switching?

Question 2:
If I armour debuff a target by landing a critical hit on the front bar then switch to the back bar, will the target remain debuffed for the usual duration or will the debuff vanish when I lose the 5th armour piece by bar switching?

Question 3:
Any other craftable sets that'd be better for this role instead of NMG or CA?
I'm specifically looking to make my stamblade a max burst damage PvP ganking scumbag, since I prefer to use my other characters for PvE and the occasional bit of zerg surfing in Cyrodiil.

If you're going for pure ganking, IMO you would want your offensive (DW) bar to have a 5pc that gives a flat damage buff to make the first hit from stealth hit even harder, rather than one (like NMG) that only grants an effect once you've initiated.

If you're thinking of swapping NMG for Hundings rage then you might be right, I did consider that.

NMG means that the attack that follows ambush (usually Incapacitating Strike) will benefit from the armour debuff.
Hundings means that the followup won't have the armour debuff, but will have the 5pc damage bonus applied to it and ambush instead.
I'd also be trading the weapon damage 3-piece perk on NMG for the max stam 3-piece perk on hundings.

Both sets are nice, I'm just not sure which works out better overall.

Master ganker here, switch out nmg for vipers sting. Use 2h instead of a bow and dw should be your main weapon as it deals more damage.

If you only want to run crafted sets, this is what i use to use. X5 hundings, 3 on gear, 2 weapons. 5x alchemist, 4 gear, 1 weapon. Pop a potion on 2h bar and switch to dw, buff should remain.
    1 Yes.

2H would mean that the front bar gives 4 NMG 4 CA, I wouldn't get the debuff on crit bonus when I hit an enemy with ambush after using shadowy disguise for the guaranteed crit.

Besides, I'm getting major brutality from potions, I'm using ambush as my gap closer, and the idea is to kill the target so quickly I don't need a second self heal to go with vigor, so most of the reasons that make 2H + bow the go-to combo don't apply in this case.
