FPS Drop Over Time

I love the game but I have one problem. I'll start a session and my framerate will be a perfect 60 for about 30 minutes to an hour. After that it slowly starts to degrade until I'm down in the 20s-30s. I can fix it by logging out, then logging back in. Anyone know why this is and if so, do you know a hotfix?

Yeap its all happening again, they manage to do this with the last patch and now some of my friends have the same problem with this patch. And i was having same problem with the DB DLC patch. It was pretty much unplayable for me its better now but in fact this game have no optimization at all atm cuz they dont focus on that.

Game has a serious memory leak. Over time the game eats up memory and doesn't release it properly eventually the game runs like crap.

I've been experiencing a similar performance drop, especially in cyrodiil in big fights where the fps drops to 30ish anyway. I noticed something interesting, when I use process explorer to monitor how many threads ESO64 is using, when I first zone in or relog, the thread count is 42. When I checked later when the bug hits, fps is approximately half, the thread count was 41. GPU utilization goes way down too. Relogging or zoning sets me up with 42 threads again. Also of note is I am using an 8 core 16 thread cpu, and the OP is running a 6 core 12 thread cpu, which is at least a somewhat uncommon config.

    Specs:
    Core i7 5960x
2x 1080 GTX in SLI (recently replaced 2x 970, also the problem occurs with sli disabled)
    16GB RAM
    Win 10

UPDATE: Had 41 threads running with normal fps, so the thread count seems to have been coincidental before
