Why does the game have Heat Seeking Arrows?
I can understand its an intended design in order to hit targets that are constantly mobile, so youre never at a large disadvantage in combat, but it also just breaks, (and im gonna use the dreaded word here) immersion. What they could have done is make arrows he dumb fire, as they should be, but to compensate for the increased rate of innaccuracy, the amount of damage an arrow does is immensely higher. Or instead of a damage increase, arrows have additional status effects, such as snare or bleeding.
From personal experience, Bows feel incredibly weak as a weapon. The light attacks are pretty much pointless, heavy attacks take quite a few seconds to charge, and even though most of the dps comes from abilities, ive only ever enioyed using the bow in Dungeons where abilities like Bombard and Endless Hail really shine. Itd be nice if the bow felt like you were really letting off a powerful DoT shot, and each carefully aimed, (or lucky) hit was very rewarding.
