Understanding "UNRESISTABLE DAMAGE" Weapon Glyph

Hi!

"UNRESISTABLE DAMAGE" Weapon Glyph - eg Itade + Okoma + Kuta

1. Can someone please help me to understand exactly what this glyph does?

2. Is it 'universally damaging'* to all NPCs regardless of what barriers or shields they might have?

3. Is it 'universally damaging'* to all PvP players regardless of what barriers or shields they might have active?

4. Is the glyph only effective on melee-type weapons?

5. Is the glyph effective on Staves and Bows?

6. Would the glyph be a good choice for a Solo Player's Destro or Resto Staff? If not; why not?

Examples of * in 2 and 3:
If someone or something was immune to say fire or ice, does the unresistably-charged weapon still reduce the target's health by X amount?

2 . Yes as i understand it, UNRESISTABLE DAMAGE deals 'True' Damage .

3. ^^ as above .

4. I have not tested Staves (Staff) . Try it .

5. Bows I suspect apply . ^^ as above , try staves ( Staff )

6. First establish if it can be applied to Staves (Staff).

7. UNRESISTABLE DAMAGE reduces a target's health directly . Element immunity ,Damage shields , Spell resistance and physical resistance are ignored, as the name suggests . This is how i understand it .

Dracane

This damage ignores all resistances and damage shields of the target.

So it always deals the damage stated on the tooltip. But it's still reduced by 50% from the pvp debuff.
This glyph is equally effective on all weapons and I think it's a good deal in pvp, but its damage value is naturally lower than destruction glyphs to compensate. So is it really better ? It can't proc any status effect.

But against damage shields.... it's a very good glpyh.

It's only value comes against damage shields and maybe high resistance tanks, because low resistances reduced further by sharpened are not high enough to mitigate other damage enchants down to the same damage level of the unresistable enchant. Also because it does not proc a status effect.
