Tower Farming Solution??

You already can't put forward camps up if you don't own the resource. A no rezzing rule would be awful, pointless, and against the spirit of the game. There is nothing wrong with tower farming, if folks are going to keep throwing their bodies in there without properly coordinating then they deserve what's coming.

Allow people to go through doors without dropping block. There is nothing wrong with tower fights per se, only that they take advantage of badly designed UI elements.

pugs taking the flags for that 100 ap b4 you can siege the tower is the only problem. Bad players like it happen to begin with

It's a l2p issue not a broken mechanic or system of the game. Let's take a stand on nerfing the game for inexperienced players.

I disagree that tower farming is a problem that requires a solution. For me, it's a fun aspect of the game and I have as much fun being the defender as much as being the attacker.

How about people not send 40 people and a line of siege after a small group on a resource forcing them into the tower?

I really enjoy tower fights but lately my group has been fighting on the top as opposed to on the door (unless they start dropping siege on the top). Reason being that brief interval upon entering the tower where you're completely helpless. It just seems unfair. I wouldn't be against a modification to towers that would prevent that. Someone in another thread suggested removing the door on the bottom and just allowing players to pass the threshold once they took the resource. That sounds alright to me.

There is certainly a tower farming problem. They are called pugs that take the flag and go in one by one to be farmed. I am afraid there is no solution to that. Using zone and say to tell them not to do that hasn´t been the cure all hoped for. This needs further exmination. I recommend a very harsh treatment that includes idgf if they get farmed or even reroll and farm them.

I say after 10 minutes of owning a resource a commander spawns (city guard) on the inside and clears out any riffraff

Tower farming works as intended but it's just another thing to dislike about cyrodil. Especially when the other 2 alliances stop attacking each other.

You should be able to attack and heal through the windows holes or be able to have the door open so we can shoot in.

I loved it when nightblades use to be able to gap close to the 2nd level. Totally changed the dynamic of the game.

Best counter to tower farmers is simply by not going into tower! Ready your ultis, hide and wait for them to come out. If two legged APs won't go into tower they will leave it and you will have chance kill them! Going again and again into tower to die will achieve nothing!

Coordinating with people around you , not taking the enemy flag , sieging the tower and not a single person going inside are some of the ways you can deal with tower farming. Hell.. simply reading the chatbox once in a while would solve this altogether since there are a lot of people begging others to do things decently

To add onto "dont go into the tower" strat. You can 1 up that. Start hitting key objectives on the map, that really messes up the farm.

No solution needed. Use your brains and destroy the tower before capturing the resource. If that's not an option because the mindless horde has already taken it, then simply walk away and the tower campers will soon get bored and come out.

By the time i almost have the tower down stupid pugs have flipped the resource. Hopefully zone chat will fix it.

Lmao this. Vanzan and i were screwing around at ash resources the other day and a blob of ad turned up and set 7 seige on the tower for 2 people. The best part was we were actually sitting on the rocks behind them laughing our asses off.

Lol just don't go in the tower then kill their scrubs who didn't make it in the tower and have to run back. The only problem with tower farming is doing it with a zerg in late night hours after they night cap the whole map but that's a whole different story. After hours if you out number your opponent you can hold up in a tower for hours. It pretty cheap I feel
