This video is produced after only 6 days using the Magicka DK class. For those of you who don't know me, I am an extremely experienced nightblade specialised in unique builds, but am challenging the constant hate on Magicka DK saying that it is unplayable.

I am not yet experienced using a DK and have already got these few clips for a teaser to combat criticism, so hope you can enjoy the content. You may notice I make a few small mistakes, and miss some skills a couple of times - just a lack of practise for the time being.

If you are one of the few people who - no matter what clips are released - say that magicka dk is unplayable and will hate on the content, you are not forced to watch. The content is only for viewer entertainment, and even though I am less experienced I believe it entirely proves magicka DK is comfortably playable

Ooooaaakkay here goes. You have problems taking down sub 300 players. I can literally 2 shot those players on a NB, Sorc, and Stam dk. Templar can dark flare jav beam theyre dead, or sweep spam to instant death.

Your 1vx includes resource camping? 90% of the fights are potatoes or sorc/magdk. Not once did i see the quartet of templars sing beam music on you. If a competent NB got their hands on you you're toast bro.

Im not saying you're a baddie, but cmon man. You have to admit if you could execute it would be alot better. If igneous scaled off magika or even fractured was buffed off of heavy armor wear you could put out better vids because this was obviously cherry picked footage.


Btw. If you're rockin light armor dampen ward bubble is a helluvalot stronger. Embers heals enough combined with lash you dont need mending. JS

(1) sub 300 players are no problem ... excluding blocking targets with 50k health. I take a number of 501cp down in 3 hits in the video, but you are cherry picking fights
(2) Read the description - It is a TEASER after playing the class for 6 days. If a nightblade wants to try they can, I have killed a number of high end ones on PC EU. To get 'great clips' for any video it takes more than 6 days, especially considering the build is maybe 4 days old, and within that 6 days a good amount of time has been spent learning where and what my abilities even are
(3) Every class has it's advantages - DK has survivability, other classes have burst.
(4) Cherry picked footage? Welcome to 1vX, I main a nightblade and like to think I am one of the top tier players of it - Even then you still 'cherry pick' to make a video, and it is always bad players.

And when you upload something, you dont upload your entire play-time with the character. You pick out some fights and you upload them. Uploading every fight would be lame

MagDKs are in no way weak, they're not up there to compete with a Stamblade or a stamdk but its nowhere near weak. Burning Embers is strong.

Bruh. No one is saying the class is unplayable. No one. We say it has issues that other classes don't have. You say it takes more than 6 days to get great clips? It also takes more than 6 days of playing a class to be telling people how it's played. And don't even say survivability is an advantage of the dk. It's only mildly survivable because we are pigeonholed into specing tanky. Literally any other class can have the survivability of a mag dk. It doesn't have anything more than another class as far as survivability.

On another note. I was hoping to have a nice mDK -discussion. Ain't happening. WHY can't you jsut keep your personal feelings aside and discuss this without getting personal ?

Counter a Malubeth spamming healbot with a pressure build/class like magicka sorc or mana dk? Every five seconds, you get a beam that heals you to full health. Killing malutards is easy on a high damage - burst build.

Dude remember, we 2v2'ed your stam sorc and an Argonian cute little guildie in IC with Skaffa? Then you relogged on your healbot since it's your main char, and still failed? I really like Blob but this video is embarrassing. You're trying to hard to try and prove mag DK is a l2p issue instead of a balance issue

You're build video last week was exactly the same. HUGE dmg, no it doesn't have huge dmg. Stam NB, sorc, DK, Temp. Even mag dk and mag temp have huge dmg on a lot of different set ups. Mag DK can get huge dmg but certainly not on the build you run not on any solo build.

I know this because I've played the game for a very long time. I've played and know a lot of players who've played and persisted with mag DK and everyone of them including myself come to the same conclusion, mag dk needs some balancing. Yes they are very strong in duels, yes they are amazing in group play but no, they are garbage solo.

Jormasaurus is by far the best mag dk I've seen on this game, watch his videos and you will see *** good he is. He makes sypher and blobs look like absolute novices. His resource management is on a whole different level but even he isn't a miracle worker, he knows more than anyone that you can't polish a turd. Blobsky is sprinkling glitter on his turd right here, dressing it up making it look real pretty but at the end of the day, it's still a turf, accept it and move on bro.

I looked at his videos and he has a couple decent looking 1vX clips but most of the gameplay is group play which mDK performs well in. I wouldn't say he's doing anything that Blobs, Etaniel, Vyr, or any other experienced mDK can't do.

You are aware how much easier 2vX is than 1vX right? it isnt like 1v5 is same as 2v10 - 2v10 is LEAGUES easier, you have support, enough burst to get through things, etc etc etc

but it was fixed, by hotfix, i have dont wear it as it was Buggy.

They have fix an error on 2.4.5 patch, this heal is normaly at the Moment.
Fixed an issue where the heal from this item set’s proc was being reduced by Battle Spirit; healing based on damage done will no longer be double-penalized by Battle Spirit.

but with 2.4.5 Comes a bug too, (double proc on same target) they have fix it with hotfix

If you watched him closely bro you would see what I mean. The guys is near flawless on it, I think he's lost like one duel on it the whole time he's played it.Jorma is on another level. That's not taking anything away from other people who play the class. He specialises in magdk. Hes played it more than just about anyone. Either way I think you're in agreement about the class needing a little reworking which obviously Blobs isn't. My point was better mag dks than blob have put a lot more than a week into the class and he won't convince the masses the class is fine, it's definitely not.

I know bro, trust me I know. I've played everything bar mag temp ALOT. I'm ps4 with 850 cp and 10 max level toons mate. Pretty sad thinking about how much time I've put into this game. I'm in total agreement. 2vx is a game changer. In straight 1vx though Jorma is by far the best mag DK I've personally seen. I won't share his set up but I'm sure he would tell you if you asked. A lot of our boys plus many others have tried tonnes of different set ups. I had impen seduced light and heavy 2 patches ago. The class is by no means unplayable it's just behind other classes when it comes to solo play. You're also gimped into sword and board which is crap
