Question: Is It Possible To Make A DK Tank, Magicka, Stam Hybrid Build For PvP? Serjustin19

Hi. Since my AD Wood Elf is not great at tanking. (Learned the hard way) I have to make new character. Is it possible to make A DK Tank, Magicka and Stam Hybrid build for PvP?

I have 3 race choices in mind. Well 4 actually with the new changes coming with update 11.

1. High Elf. (Due to great Magicke recovery in battle)
2. Dumner.
3. Imperial
4. Orc. (With the new upcoming changes)

If I had to choose. I will say High Elf for great Magicka recovery in battle. But I also like the Orc new upcoming Passives to.

Orc upcoming new changes for update 11. ORC
Heavy Armor Expertise: This passive ability has been renamed to Craftsman. Also, in addition to the current benefit it now increases your inspiration gains by 10%.
Robust: This passive ability has been renamed to Unflinching. It now increases your Health Recovery by 6/13/20%, down from 10/20/30% and your healing received by 1/3/5%.


With my opinion should I Pick a Orc instead to be my magicka, stamina hybrid Tank? Would an orc do a lot of magicka damage. With nexious fumes. While blocking? I will be wearing full 7 piece set of heavy armor. I also understand I might not get best magicka recovery also.

I also like and prefer dropped sets instead of crafting no offense. I got some in mind. But have to be higher level. Which in 4-5 days I could. I Also have 410 CP. Of course my new character won't be able to use. Until he/she reached level 10 to be scaled in PvP. I also know that I won't be as effective until I reached level 50.

Is it possible to make a hybrid PvP tank build? Yes, definitely.

Can you kill anything using only abilities? Yes, anyone who has no heal, does not fight back and just attempts to run, as you'll have a (mighty) 4k DPS top.

Now, you have MANY ways to tank, so... Which one are you thinking about?

• Health stacking build with %max health based healing (e.g Dragon Blood, Drain Essence)
• Health regen build (usually running Orgnum's scales or Willow's path)
• Block build
• Mitigation build (relies on external healing sources)

Above are just the hybrid tanking versions. The game style also matters a lot, as your gear, race and ability choices will vary based on whether you run solo, in small or larger groups, rely on your own healing or on healers, whether you intend to be able to kill people with abilities or using sieges, etc etc...

Race: Orc ( It might not be good race. But the new changes sounds so awesome to me)

CP: 410. (However I put out the max cp since I be farming CP soon. Also want to get ahead)

Food: Tri Food (Max Magicka, Max Health, Max Stamina)

Potions: Tri Pots? (Is there such a thing?)

1. Eruption? ( Magicka) (AOE?). (? I unsure if I want this. What do you think?)
2. Deep Breath? (Magicka) (? Unsure if I want this. What do you think?)
3. Dragon Fire Scale (Magicka) (Projectiles do extra damage?)
4. Ingenious Shield. (Magicka) (6 seconds long) (major mending. Can't pass this up. (Support roll?)

Armor: (I love and prefer dropped sets instead of crafting.)

Head and Shoulders: Scourge Harvaster. ( I just got the head. Need shoulders)

Black Rose: 5 piece (Chest, Legs, Waist, Gloves and feet for example)

Ebon Armory: 5 piece. (However some posts says there are indeed weapons and jewelry of this set)
(Necklace, Ring1, Ring2, Mace and Shield for example)


I unsure my build be terrible. But I can change some things if need be. Also am I considered more of a support role, a hybrid role, tank role, or magicka role? I am so confused. Thank you again
