Vicecanon proc questions

For the 5 item effect it says critical hit from crouch...will it trigger if I'm crouched but not hidden?

Will teleport strike trigger the effect if I'm crouched and the strike is a critical hit?

My plan is to crouch, cloak (shadowy disguise), teleport strike

@Vigarr No you need to be hidden, ZOS needs to update that text so it says you need to be in stealth/undetected for it to proc; same goes with camo hunter.

If it's an attack from stealth sure but if it brings you out of stealth to initiate the skill then no so an example would be me chain pulling from stealth, that isn't counted as a stealth hit so you must go for attacks that doesn't move you to another player or move another player towards you for it to be 100% effective.

Your plan shouldn't need crouch since when you cloak you're automatically placed in a crouching position. I'd say go with the cloak blades crit cloak form and follow up with bow attacks such as light/heavy/poison inject for maximum effectiveness.

Thanks for the rest of your helpful post but I singled this part out as I've noticed that if I don't crouch before cloak then it seems as if the stealth damage doesn't trigger for other skills.

So teleport strike seems off the menu but it's ok as I do use a bow on backup with this character.

Teleport Strike does proc Vice Cannon. It is the only gap closer to do so.
