As any one managed to glyph the briarheart *ANSWERED = CP150 don't take CP160 glyphs... oops

So after many chest, I have acquired and helmet and shoulders of the briarheart set to go along side my two one handed briarheart.

Since a few days back I've not bothered trying to put glyphs on, and on making some gold glyphs I was left only to find that none of my glyphs shown.

Can any one else confirm thus is a bug? Seems rather pointless farming it if you can't glyph it.

apologies I'm being stupid, totally forgot it was cp150. So that most likely will explain it, thanks for the replys

I put weapon damage glyphs on the jewelry.

There isn't any need to add glyphs to the armor as it automatically upgrades the enchant (max stamina) as you upgrade the item quality.

EDIT: I suspect your problem is that you may be trying to apply CP160 glyph (truly superb) to CP150 item (uses "superb" glyph).

it's a bug. log out and back in.

A common mistake players make is crafting glyphs that are too high a level ... compared to the equipment with which the glyphs are applied.

For example, if you have CP150 equipment, and then created CP160 glyphs (from Repora or Itade potency runes), the glyphs won't work. That is because they can only be applied to CP160 armor and weapons.


Not saying this automatically applies to you, @razzle1184kicks, but be sure to double check both the level of the Briarheart pieces and the level of the gold glyphs. A screenshot of your issue (if you can take one) would also help the forum community diagnose your problem ... before declaring it's a bug.

I didn't think I said it was a bug, but rather asked the question.

Either way thanks for you reply, it would most likely be because of the whole cp150 and crafting cp160 stuff. Completely slipped my mind as I've been so used to making cp160 stuff.

Why this particular set seems to drop primarily in CP150 is a mystery to me, especially considering even CP160 version is not very strong compared to various alternatives.

God knows, I just like the look of the helmet and shoulders so I normally run it just when I'm farming etc...
