That Freaking Moment When Everything Is Going Good and Then You Accidently Steal a Drink ARGHHH

Yeah everything is going great, your on a quest and see a glowing book and run up to read it, only to accidentally in haste click on the drink beside it and BAM you have a bounty. So frustrating, lol cause I had 2 treasure maps on me from thieves troves, plus a few other stolen items, so now I have to be extra careful for a bit cause guards are everywhere around my quest area.

This game is certainly unique :)

    Well a thief in haste makes mistakes - see it as enhanced difficulty - things like that never happen to me, and there is a reason why - I hold in for a moment, before I use the E key and make sure I do not pick up something by accident.

    In case that you are on PC, get an addon called "No accidental stealing" ;)

    Pretty much... its like a built in cleptomania... i mostly do it when trying to talk to guild traders surrounded by weapons and crap, then mournhold is lagging, you spam the button and accidents happen.

    Just like in real life when you want to talk to the store clerk and accidentally steal something...

    Having a confirmation window pop up to confirm whether you really want to steal something or not is rubbish... However an option in the gameplay menu to make stealing impossible could be there, just like we have the "Prevent Attacking Innocents" option.

    Yeah.. happens same at the guild store/traders. You run up to the vendor and press click, then get a bounty because you inadvertently picked up that stolen drink that is right next to that vendor. Then, you're like.. what the hell?! I think that is there on purpose as joke by the developers for a laugh. They were probably like.. hey, lets put this stolen drink right next to the vendor and see how many players not paying attention click on it instead of the vendor. Ha ha!
