What If Scenario Concerning The Dragon Warrior Costume:

I have an idea that may or may not be true, but it would be interesting to know for sure. Ok so all of us that purchased or saw the Dragon Warrior costume in the crown store looked nearly identical to the armor used by the player character in the trailer for the Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. At the time there was all sorts of rumors going about on a Skyrim remaster with as of the time no name yet, so I am thinking ZOS knew it indeed was in development and was trying to tell us the player base without actually saying anything, so to speak, a hint if you will. News sites all over the place even had some minor information about it's features before it was even announced such as all 3 DLC packs being Dawnguard, Hearthfire, & Dragonborn, modding support on both Xbox One and PS4, even majorly improved graphics. Then on top of all this Todd Howard did in fact officially announce the official remaster of Skyrim AKA "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition." So I am wondering did ZOS really know or did it happen to be some big coincidence that the costume came out around the time large amounts of rumors started coming about the official remaster?

I really started thinking about this and it's kind of starting to make sense a little bit, I feel like they were trying to tell us that Skyrim remaster was indeed in development, but of course couldn't officially say anything, because of legality and perhaps morality reasons.

This is how conspiracy theories are born. "These two unrelated things must be connected, therefore Half-Life 3 confirmed."

If ZOS wanted to use the Dragon Warrior costume to plug sales for Skyrim: Remastered, they would have released the costume immediately after the announcement or right before SkyRemast dropped. Not just sort of randomly in between.

Costumes are being designed and partially implemented long before they are being announced or added to the Crown Store. So I don't think that the Dragon Warrior or Priest outfits were added just for the Remastered edition.

If ZOS releases smth for a special occasion (like those Halloween polymorphs last year), they'll announce it

Its just a very popular image, there's many Skyrim fans and ZOS just wants to make money on them.

Yeah I completely agree with this, they could've added some dragon absorbing particle effects that happen randomly and is only for looks and maybe a limited time fus'ro'dah shout that works like a skill that does very limited damage, but blows npc based enemies back several feet for the laugh's. Then they could have charged 3,500 Crowns for it lol ;) All jokes aside I was surprised how cheap it was when it came to the crown store, I was expecting it to be at least 3k+.

Yeah you're probably right, I just find it super convenient it comes about the same time a bunch of rumors about the remaster come up. Although now that you mention the Halloween stuff I hope they bring back some of the Halloween stuff from last year, as I missed out on them and would love to buy them come this Halloween, or even new stuff if they decide to go that rout.

You are right conspiracy things are a big thing and start with mentioning information like this, it was probably already thought of and perhaps designed way before the rumors started.

Yeah I agree I wish they would I don't know take a couple layers off the darned fur. It makes my Orc Templar who is not fat look like he went to the Tamriel burger drive thru and eat 2,000+ orders of burgers, fries, and shakes with maybe a few fishy sticks on the side, but in fact he is super muscular and he looks like he took a whole crate full of steroid potions. If the Xbox One wasn't so locked down when it comes to sharing screenshots that's not on Xbox Live I would show him on here and you could see.
