Are we okay with the current trait drops on end-game content?

There's no reason for us to loot Prosperous, Training, Sturdy, Well-Fitted, Charged, Powered, or Decisive items.

And I really hope this change isn't just a quick fix to add "replayability" on content...

    Regarding unwanted Traits:


    Prosperous; absolute garbage. Why do we have this over Exploration? Maybe if it increases gold looted by at least 100% it would have even a slight amount of value but as it stands now? Get that crap outta here.

    Training; I'd prefer not getting but it can be useful to some I suppose, at least until they hit 3600 CPs.

    Powered; I know it kind of rides second fiddle to flat out DPS builds bolstering it as well but it's not the worst trait to get when you utilize healing, and can at the very least hold you over...

    Charged; this one is REALLY iffy and is better suited for DoT builds than anything, which the meta most likely doesn't touch but some no doubt do, like my Vampire just as a theme.

    Decisive; not a fan of chances myself but Decisive does kick in pretty often regardless and is good for those that need all the Ultimate gain they can get. Sure there's better choices but still...

    Sturdy and Well-Fitted; these while probably not the most popular things out there are still useful. Depends on how much you wish to reduce those costs on your build. I find Sturdy is a great trait for my tank's Armor and Shield for example.

    It really is just prosperous and training that need to go from end game loot tables. All of the other traits theoretically have builds that can use them. Bring back impenetrable and dump prosperous and training.

    Obviously everyone want divine, and if thats the only trait available then whats the point of dungeons/pledges/trials? There would be no end game if that happened, too easy to gear up all alts. Same argument for vma loots too I guess, then people will just quit the game.

    I don't mind getting back the old Impen/Infused/Divines for armor and Sharpened/Precise/Defending for vMSA weapons.

    You already knew the majority answer to this before you created the poll -_-

    What needs to be done is rather simple.


    Remove from all dropped endgame CP150-CP160 gear sets:
    • Training
    • Prosperous
    • Charged

    These three traits are TERRIBLE! With RNG already being relentless we can at the very minimum eliminate the odds of getting effectively traitless gear.

    As much as I'd love it if everything only dropped in divines and sharpened/ precise I understand that the other traits have their place. However, preposterous and training have no place in the loot table of end game equipment and really should only be on non set drops only.

    ZOS version of longevity is endless grind with useless items dropping. That way you are forced to play content. + they keep adding new sets which comes in boxes that grant any of part of X set with a total of Y sets that can also drop. I mean that's RNG X RNG X RNG = GG
    (2)V16 Dk- stam dps/stam tank/mag dps
    (2)V16 Sorc- mag dps/stam dps
    (2)V16 nb- stam dps/mag dps
    (1)v16 temp- mag tank/mag dps
    CP: 610 and counting

    Powered is a very very strong trait for healing, on par with the V14 meta healing 5 piece bonus (healer's habit at that time).

    Decisive is a fantastic trait for mDK.

    My opinion on OP's selection.

    Even if I don't care about the trait I have an about 1% chance to get the loot I want (Aether Restro) from vSO if I can convince my group to not do hardmode as it doesn't drop in hard mode at all.
    Currently I don't even bother doing it since the chance to get what I want is too small for me and I know I would just get frustrated. Other people in my guild did run vwgt 500 times and didn't get a full set of spell power cure in any trait.
    So even if you add the option to recraft traits it will take a lot of time or luck to get some desired gear.

    I think Powered, Decisive, Sturdy and Well Fitted can stay. Charged, Preposterous and Training have got to go though.

    To add to this we could also use some tuning between precise, sharp and nirn. And maybe a slight buff to infused and decisive

    RNG is RNG so complaining about it won't help they can only satisfy 50% of the community regardless...

    50% will be unhappy
    and say it's too hard
    50% will be unhappy and say it's too easy

    IF they make it easier

    50% will be unhappy and say it's too easy
    50% will be unhappy and say all their friends are getting it but not them ( RNGesus' list of naughty players )

    It's just RNG.

    I'm unhappy with the loot tables for end-game content.
    I did vWGT 32 times now, over half on hard mode, still no Molag Kena Medium with Divines or even Infused.

    I like the dungeon and would farm it even when I get it, however, this is totally annoying and stupid, its a fact that some people just don't have luck and RNG hardly ever favor them.

    And to all those who say "its RNG, it is totally random", I don't care, fact is, in every game RNG is involved, I am always the last of my friend to get those "BIS" things, while they get them on their fifth try maximum if not first.

    Nothing more annoying than getting the item you need with the most useless stat.

    Currently I use medium helmet with gold find, this is a j o k e .
