I just dont get it... (motif related)

Hello people of the internet!
I was asking here on the forum a while ago about how to get the outlaw helmet. I was farming the bosses in Sharks`s Teeth Groto, the "First mate (something)" and another boss that has a name something close to kebab ;____;... point is, I dont get ANY motif from them! Not the helmet not even one. I am farming at it since so long and I just dont get it... I searched the guild store and I dont find it... do any of you have any luck? Is there a secret to this? Must I have a big group to farm with? Because on PS4EU that region is pretty dead... maybe 1 or 3 people... my friend that I farm with sometimes also doesnt have any luck in getting it. Is that a bug? Do I have to be in a group? I am alone most of the time...
My stamblade needs that helm ;___;.

Those pieces you called out only have the possibility to drop in just Shark's Teeth grotto, so due to the bug where the drop-rate is set much lower than intended, it's very unlikely you will get them to drop right now (not impossible, just very unlikely.) The drop-rate for the Outlaws Motifs everywhere else is correct.

This was in March 8... will this be fixed? There was a maintenance, and I still am unable to get anything from there...

They are rare, just look at the traders in Rawl'kha, I bought one from there. It's expensive though due to the fact that they are rare drops, and they are probably one of the only good looking medium helmets (IMHO, it is the only medium helmet I'd ever use without hide helmet)

Exactly!!! I am always using the outlaw costume because it has the best helmet out there! How expensive is it really? I only have around 85k because I wasted it on bag upgrades, and then we got the crafting bags, so...great xD

They drop, OP.

I farm the Bosses in Shark's Teeth, and I get Motif's-a-plenty to sell in my Trading Guild. It's all just RNG, though they don't drop as often as they do in the other Delve.

I usually get Legs and Helmets more than anything, but I've received my fair share of Shields and Staff pages as well from Shark's Teeth.

You don't have to be in a group, I solo most all the content in the game, and RNGesus just kind of gives me pages whenever he feels like it. Patience is the key. The wait between Boss spawns is interminable sometimes, and then you take into account that they only drop stuff every other spawn... and I've had plenty of nights where I got nothing.

I'm on Xbox One NA, though I don't believe that the megaserver/platform has anything to do with it.

If they fix the bug, good to go. But until then, keep farming the bosses or checking the Guild Traders. You'll get it.

They key boss is Krona Keeba. You need to do sufficient damage against it to get loot. Were there other people in the area also trying to farm the motifs? If so, you may simply not be getting a loot opportunity due to insufficient damage.

You may be aware of this aready, but bosses have a 15 minute cooldown on loot to prevent easy farming.

So, I'd you walk in, kill the boss, and don't get a motif, you need to wait 15 before you even have a chance at a motif drop. Likewise, if you DO get a motif, you still have to wait 15 minutes for a chance at another one.

Again, you probably already know this, but it bears mentioning in case you don't.

Both Hew's Bane and Gold Coast have divided their Motifs between 4 bosses (GC for sure HB can't 100% verify but pretty sure lol) and only 1 of the 4 drops the chapter you seek. 2 delve bosses, 2 world bosses...

P.S. I hate that damned storm mage of Hew's Bane SO FREAKING MUCH!!

I thought it was 10. But I haven't bothered farming delve bosses in ages.

Since you and I hate that Storm Mage World Boss (he can burn in hell for all I care...), I thinks it's fair to note that you don't ever have to touch the World Bosses to get the entire Outlaw motif.

All of the pages for Outlaw are divided up amongst the two Delve Bosses. So just farming both of them for long enough will get the OP the entire Outlaw Motif.

Now; the World Bosses do drop Motif pages, but they're so difficult to kill and take such a long amount of time to do so, that it's usually more time efficient to stick with the Delve Bosses.

Awwwwwwww that is so nice!!! xD Could have been me too!!! xD I do that as well sometimes, I used to just give my purple items away to people farming around me =D.

@WhiteCoatSyndrome The Axes, Daggers, and Belts are at Baraha's Gloom. The Gloves usually drop for me at Shark Tooth Grotto IIRC.

But I know from my own personal experience that while I know the pages drop from the World Bosses, I've never had one drop.

I have, however; had all of the pages drop from the Delve Bosses. In fact, I've had enough of each page drop, that I have three separate characters with the full Outlaw Motif (never got the whole book in one drop, just did one page at a time), I have a fourth character that only needs the Shields page, and I've received enough extra pages to trade them to my wife so that her Main only needs like 2-3 pages before she has the full Outlaw Motif.

Plus I've had a constant stream of Pages to sell in the Trading Guild I'm a member of. At least 200k worth of pages when selling them between 8-10k per page.

And that's all from the Delve Bosses alone.

Agreed on the World Bosses.

Any time I get a hair up my butt to try to take them on, I usually am stuck taking the very boring path of waiting around in stealth until a bunch of other players show up.

I tried the Storm Mage in Hew's Bane solo once... that didn't end well. It ended quickly, but not well. lol
