I have an idea on how to get PVP more indepth and getting Emperor a achievement .

Hello all,
I have a idea on how to change PVP to include PVE in a way to make getting emperor a "WELL DONE" accomplishment. Ok we all have been playing in Imp city and killing each other in Cyrodiil for 2 working on 3 years now and the ppl that have emperor at first was a great honor but now its a race to get there first and doesn't mean much besides you won the grind race and had help doing it. But i'm getting ahead of myself here. First how to get Cyrodiil to be more strategic???? Humm. How about bring back the Mercs and changing up how we do things. 1. Make it so a scouting report has to be filed on the keep first. 2. After the scouting report is filled it pops a mission for a NPC force to spawn and move to the keep. They would be craglorn strength when it just came out so no one will just wipe them all out with one shot. You have to keep these guys alive or you can't take/hold the fort for your faction. If the other faction has a scouting report on the keep/town where the force spawns they get a mission to intercept the force. Now right there alot of y'all are saying ok "BOOM" alot of Meteors and no force, True but if the force is being escorted by players doing there jobs the other factions players should be too busy to just wipe them out. The force will use waypoints on the roads to move from place to place so picking your ambush spots will be fun and once they are known will be changing alot. Now the force will attack players in there way so its not just going to be a slaughter. You could hire Different Mercs to help guard the force and they would attack nearby players that get to close not just the ones that attack the force + with the different types they could give the force different resistances to different damage like"fire damage form siege equipment that the players will be firing at them". 3. Once the force makes it to the keep they attack the door with a ram. Once the door is down they go after the Keep's door but there is a Random Commander for each fort and he has to be killed for the fort to be taken that would be all the players job. Think of him as a "World Boss" strenght. So ok we have a force that has made it to a fort and has breached the outer door but without the players going in and killing the commander in a reasonable amount of time the attack fails and the force disbands. So if the defenders can keep them at bay long enough they win. Now once a fort is taken the remaining force turns into the guards and a New Mission pops up to reinforce the keep and get ready to attack from there. Now a question i know you are thinking is "OK what if me and my guild just goes and takes a fort like we always have done". It would be unsanctioned and without a scouting report the warlords won't chance to send any holding forces/Reinforcements and you would be on your on. 4. AP would be used to buy mercs to add to the force and AP would be used to start these missions but if they succeed you get alot back +WAR Points. 5. Ok now Lets say you been doing your part for your faction, Taken alot of keeps/towns. Now your Emperorship chance pops up as a mail from your sides leader to show your commitment to the cause. It allows you and your trial group to enter the Imperial City and attempt to replace Empress Regent Clivia Tharn in the White Gold tower. You would invite/make your group for this trial by spending your war points. you would have to have the 2 keeps around the bridge on your factions side of the city to start it. A NPC caster spawns on your side remakeing the bridge into the city and you and your trials group going in to that the crown. Once you are in the city the bridge is destroyed again and until you win or lose and leave the city. Now on you entering the city from the gate the next 24 players in the other 2 factions=48 get a message to enter the sewers to stop you you. Your group have resurrection number like in any other trial. They don't and once they die there out. You have to fight your way through the city to reach the White Gold Tower and then The Fight is All up to you. You will be the only one allowed to enter and Confront Clivia Tharn. If you win you are Emperor. If you die you and your group are cast out to your faction HQ and All of the War points it took to Invite your party for your trial are gone and it falls to the next person to do there duty and seize the crown. This will make the equipment you bring and the skills you use be very tailored. I know alot of People would like this and alot of People would hate this. So what do you think?

    I PvP to fight players not mobs. I don't want any PvE in PvP.

    Are you serious? I can maw through Craglorn 20+ mobs by butter cheese. Emperor is one of the rarest achievements in the game and should remain so by all rights. If anything, the ways to earn AP should be thoroughly re-examined. The current system is easily exploitable.

    It sounds like a fine scenario for a single player game.

    The top achievement for player versus player should be about fighting other players, not NPCs. There are many other titles and achievements you can get PvEing.

    Agreed. I hate the way people play to get ap.. like ap is of any real value anyways.

    I have people on my friends list who way out rank me but, don't even come close to the amount of kills I have. Seeing them on a tower farm sometimes.. I just lol.

    My playtime has been primarily solo on or near objectives and I didnt wait around for ticks after the fighting was up. I guess that's my fault though.. I just really don't like to play like that. When I'm in Cyrodiil I'm constantly trying to do something or kill someone.
