A s+b, heavy armour redguard stam dk is the currently strongest dueling build, because using the redguard paassive, the heavy armour constitution passive, pots and ult to keep sustain. The build can basically ignore needing to get any sustain on gear and can go full dmg.

This coupled with heavy armour, bloodspawn, the recently buffed dots, s+b lets them put out high dmg while being very very tanky.

Great, we used to have high damage builds that were annoying cuz they killed you fast, but also died fast because damage was the focus, leaving little else. It's a fair and balanced trade-off, but people moaned about it.

Nowadays? People can deal high damage AND be tanky as heck. That's Wrobel's balance. The amount of new and improved cheese sets are living proof of that. A tank should never EVER be on par damage wise than a purely DD based class, EVER! Period. Tank is just that - tank, a diversion, a harasser that distracts enemy making himself the primary target. A tank should hit like a wet noodle in exchange for insane survivability, or go full DD and become a wet noodle himself but hit like a RPG. That is balance. That makes sense.
What we see nowadays is everyone shifting their metas around *** like Malubeth, and the sort. Heck i saw a entire 12-man group running Malubeth, every single one. This nonsense has to stop. Tanks should be viable and competitive, tanks should NOT be godmode like it is currently.
This starts reminding me of the Dunmer DK Vampire days where anyone playing it could 1 vs 24...

ZoS only goes from one extreme to the other, will we ever see a day where some kind of resemblence of balance will dawn? Doubt it, but hope never dies...
It started as Elder Robes Online, then it was Elder Leather Online, now it's Elder Metal Online. Looks like a full circle has finally been done.

Heavy armor stam sorc with clan fear is #1 dueling build rn.
