Game crashes when I log in

So I bought the game a couple of days ago, and after spending hours(and days) downloading it, I finally could play the game (so I thought). I had a problem getting the access code in my e-mail inbox, and tried again the next day, and it worked! But now there's another issue. The game keeps crashing when I log in. I get to type my password, and it loads a bit, and then it crashes.
Does anyone know what I could do to fix this? I think my PC can handle this game. I really want to try the game after waiting this long.
All of these problems make me veeery unmotivated to play now..
Edit: I have a windows 7, 64 bits, intel core i7, 8 GB RAM. (if it helps)
