What happened to the toggle for always showing resource bars on Xbox?

I fell asleep the other night while playing and managed to enter the settings and change some of my interface settings and now my resource bars aren't being displayed at all times AND I can't seem to find the toggle for it in the interface settings.
Where has it gone?
And WHY is it gone?
This is crucial for knowing whether or not a buff that affects resources needs to be reapplied. I also display numbers on my bars so I can tell exactly what's going on.

And another thing.
WHEN are we going to get some decent character information?
There is so many things that simply are not displayed when looking at the character screen. All the bonuses from your CP passives need to be incorporated into that missing info too. The buffs there also don't tell you what they are doing only what their name is, not very helpful.
All current buffs and effects from armor sets etc should be displayed on screen in game, bottom right corner, with bars to indicate time remaining on buffs. This is a no brainer really I can't believe we don't have this.

I had to disable all my combat add ons on PC because LAG, and I could've sworn there was an option to always show resources as well. We really need that option, as well as the ability to unlock them and move them around individually.

Im sure the toggle is still there I reset everything and had to go through all the settings. Cant get online right now, but just trawl thru every setting

I went through all the settings several times and I can't see anything relating to resource bars.

When flicking through the settings options there should be an option labeled to show "Always". I myself only have it set to when I'm in combat but I'm definitely sure it should be there. That said I haven't logged back in yet after the maintenance. Maybe something was accidentally done to it?

But I heard the maintenance was just a Server Reboot, so there shouldn't have been any changes to the game content itself. I'll give it a look see next time I log in.

That seems bizarre!

Excessive Bumping I can understand but I waited 3 weeks and didn't get an answer. After that length of time, in any forum that gets a reasonable amount of traffic, the thread will be buried.
I hadn't gotten an answer so what was I to do? Ask again in another thread? To me THAT should be against forum rules and on forums like stack overflow your thread will get closed and you'll get a negative rating for asking something that has already been asked in another thread unless you have a slightly different situation and the answer you seek is not quite the same as what has been provided elsewhere.

I did HAVE resource bars always before and I don't now and I can not find the option anywhere which leads me to believe that either it has been removed OR there is something wrong with my client.

I'd just like a definitive answer as to why I don't have them there anymore and why I can't find the option to turn them on. Whether other people like them there or not is irrelevant, I do, and it WAS an option before.

Anyway, thanks for pointing out that rule to me, if it is the case then I'll be sure not to bump again.

Yeah, usually they're talking about excess bumping. I can log in right now, I'll check.

All I can find is the ability to lock the ability bar on (under Settings -> Interface). I can't find a setting to lock the resource bars on.

It really bugs me too. It was there at one point, hasn't been for months.

Also, would like an option to see drink are active, like the arrows that used to be there.

There are lots of improvements that could be made in regards to the amount of character information we get on console.

Another thing that annoys me is that there are no active buffs/debuffs displayed on screen, and even when you go into the character menu it only gives you the name of the applied buff, for instance Major Brutality, but it gives no further information on what that buff actually does, no tooltip information, which I find quite bizarre and have never seen in any other MMO I have played over the years.

Yes, I know that there is a graphical effect on your character when you receive a buff but that doesn't really help all that much. IMO there should be something in the bottom right hand side of the screen (or perhaps re-positionable, actually the whole UI should be customizable like it is in a LOT of MMOs) which shows not only an icon of the effect but also the name of the buff/debuff, and a duration bar so you can keep an eye on when buffs are about to expire and re-apply with as little downtime as possible. Buffs and debuffs could be sectioned off, perhaps one above the other or side-by-side, or perhaps just have the text for the name in different colours - white or green for buff and red for debuff ?? Maybe a UI option to disable the text for veteran players who can tell the effect just from an icon and have a coloured frame around the icon to distinguish between buffs and debuffs. I don't know, but SOMETHING to show what status effects are being applied on the main display.

Then, when you go into your character menu screen it should have all the required information like the icon, the name, the duration, exactly what it does and in the case of de-buffs maybe even the spell/ability that you have available on your build which would purge or cleanse it from you so you know that when you see that icon pop up on the main screen you can pop off the counter for it in a flash.

Oh well.. Just a thought. Would be nice to see but I'm not holding my breath.
