My notebook was for 2500 eur maybe 2 years ago, but still when I play ESO more hours in na row, it gets too super hot, this cooler stand helps a lot.0 -

✭✭✭✭Anything below 85C is safe temp and well within the specs for the R9 280X
the card itself will hit thermal limits at 95C and will throttle the card. Running the card at temps 90C and higher for extended periods of time will shorten the life of the card.
OP your card is fine as 76-80C is well within the specs laid out by AMD, as long as you stay below 85C you should get many years out of that card.
If you want to make sure the card runs cooler you could try adding another case fan on the side blowing on your card which will probably drop temps by 3-4C and in turn make your fans on the card run much slower.
