So I just got around to doing Blackheart Haven for the first time...

Wanted to quest there at my leisure so I was soloing it. Took down the bosses easy enough, though a couple setbacks did occur. Then I got to Blackheart himself... He is unliving proof this game has forced group content. Anyone that says otherwise either has insane DPS and solos him when he's Lv38 or so or has not fought him yet.

Not sure whether to give Zenimax props or curses for that damned skeleton curse of his that makes me unable to fight back no matter what thus rendering him near impossible to solo.

I remember doing this first time, was with mates and laughing my moobs off when it happened to me.

For a one-off dungeon imo it's a great imaginative and fun mechanic, ymmv

Complaining that content intended for a group can't be soloed is like complaining that you lost a (insert sport here) game because you were the only person on your team...

It sucks yes but this thread was not made to complain. I was simply pointing out it's impossible to solo unless you min/max pure DPS and have someone scale it down for you. No, this thread was made to indicate that you actually do need a group at some point where it counts.

Also a heads up to the new people in the game that haven't done it yet
