Enchantments on swords for magicka builds

I'm trying to make a magicka nightblade for ganking, with max spell damage and burst. Now, in this patch we can put weapon damage glyphs on weapons that give more spell and weapon damage. But does that affect only weapon attacks or spell damage in general? If weapon power enchant isn't the best enchant, which one is it?

The enchantments that you put on your weapons only proc from light and heavy weapon attacks. I think you are asking about enchantments for DW swords on your back bar, in which case there is no reason to enchant them with anything, as you should never do a light or heavy attack on that bar, so you will never proc it anyway.
