Yes, because everything on the map belongs to that guy.

I was 99% sure that everyone would realize this is sarcasm.

Always always when receiving abusive messages or hate tells in pvp or any other kind of rude message - the default reply i use is " Your complaint has been noted and is important to me"

Sometimes the garbled responses I get tell me that the person has become so enraged their head has popped like a volcanic zit of fury.

100000 messages seems like an extreme amount of messages, can't you just ignore him?

One time my silly brother felt like pranking his work and found a hacking tool that constantly calls a phone number. Well he pushed a button that repeatedly dialed 4 or 5 phones at his work and then he fell asleep with the program running.

Could really care less about someone taking a node I was working my way toward, but if I have to kill a mob to get it and someone ninjas the node or chest before I kill the mob. I'm ready to kill that player.

I know most of the time someone ninjas a node or chest from me they are looking to get a reaction from me. I just wish they had their mic on so they could hear what I'm calling them.

Harassment is wrong in a game.

But the notion the "bad guy" had is unfortunately not uncommon.

The way i see it, ZOS has programmed many ways thst kills can produce loot.

They have also programmed many ways loot is unrelated to kills.

Nodes, including chests, are the latter type and are available to the first person to open them and take their stuff.

If you choose to fight mobs or grab different node, you might lose this one but you get that one.

Once people start condoning the fighting guards means ownership concept and that its right to recognize that claim ahead of actually grabbing the loot they lead down the path to what we see here.

There is a troll near a chest. His path takes him close, enough to stare at you at the chest, but not to attack. Yet several times when i grab the chest people fighting the troll send profanity my way. They buy into this guard equals dibs concept and just expand it as far as they want.

The pre-entitlement sense is the root of the evil, imo.

If you jump a troll, get killed, should i wait to see if youvrez before killing it myself?

Sorry, it's hard to tell that it is sarcasm. I've had people complain when grinding that they "owned" the area. I tried to be nice and say I'd just stick to a small part if they didn't want me grinding with them, but they tried to say no, it was theirs and kept sending rude messages. At that point, just put them on ignore and kept going, when I would have left them 3/4 of the area if they had played nice.

If I run up to a group of nodes, I hope I'm going to be allowed to harvest all of them, but I sure don't count on it. I prioritize and grab whichever I want and hope the people near me are respectful. But:

Every time this topic comes up, there's always someone who pops in to defend the indefensible.

If someone is fighting the guardian of an item, do not loot the item. If you do so, you have not broken any game rules. You're not going to get banned or punished. But you are a pretty lousy person.

He wasn't fighting for it he was mining and the rune happened to be there too so first come first serve. Doesn't have his name on it and if someone did that to me I'd simply say poopie and move on.

No one should be allowed to interrupt your system with spam. Report him to Microsoft so they can take action, and then block him so he cannot "DDoS" you anymore.

Nothing is claimed by anyone. It's nice when you are nice, though.

They should just have all nodes usable by everyone. It only goes away for the player but everyone else can still harvest it. To make up for that they could reduced the amount of nodes a bit.

Once we're all sharing the same zones, they may have to do this to make it work at all.
