Anyone else feel A bit squishy in PVP after DB

Before the patch I could stand and fight with my stamblade... Now it feels like everything is so strong against me.

Setup:

2h and bow
5 eternal hunt (sword and 4 impen)
5 skirmisher (jewelry and 2 well fitted)
1 infused kena helmet

I felt I was getting to grips with the stamblade before the patch but post DB it has felt very tough.

Maybe it's a L2P issue and not how I have built it.

Any advice?

I sure do at least. Everyone, no matter how good the player, seems to die super quick now. I've started putting more into regen at this point, even with only 3.2k weapon damage I have no problem killing most players. Almost feels like the battle spirit buff isn't applying the full 50% damage reduction.

Gonna spend some more time learning my class and the changes from this patch.

It's annoying how every patch you have you learn all over again but that's game progression I suppose. Now if only game performance was on the menu alongside progression... That would be nice!

Damage is out of control. I don't blame you for feeling squishy.

Sharpened is broken in my opinion. The old Sharpened was 14%, which means you need about 36000 resist pre-patch to match the new 5k sharpended you get from gold weapons.

Include the new "improved" enchants (power creep) , your now taking stupid amounts of damage.

Its a kill or be killed world out in cryodill now.

Played on my magblade last night for the first time in almost 2 months, couldn't last a minute...

Use to be unkillable ( I blame it on being out of practise though rather than just "squishy ), but definitely more vulnerable I have to admit that OP!

My DK and templar though... pretty solid MagDK is like a demigod

On my DK I'm dying to anything right now lol. Although on my stamblade I feel stronger than ever, making me not want to learn to play my DK

I still have to try my stamblade in pvp but on my hybrid sorc I feel a lot tankier due to the change to Dark Deal and the new Hurricane. Might also be because I switched to SnB.

But yeah, the new penetration level is crazy, I foresee a cap.

Think I am going to give SnB a whirl on my stamblade.

I can also see a cap incoming because it feels like fights are over in seconds at the minute... People may aswell build up damage only and hope to be the one to attack first and get the kill.
