]Back in the day EQ had Guides, they were the first line of Customer support, and also crated and participated in in game events.

My question is simple:

"Would you like to see something similar in ESO?"

Please answer yes or no and explain why or why not without bashing the game, company, each other or Zos employees.

Have fun play nice.

I`ve seen the kind of people who volunteer for this stuff in another MMO. It`s enough that Zenimax staff have agendas when they moderate, without the rabid fanboy types who volunteer for these kinds of roles and nuke posts that disagree with their world view.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

Not sure what you are asking here, I believe it is to have players with GM style priveleges. Giving that sort of ability to players is likely to cause as many, if not more, issues that it would solve.

I think if you want to help ZOS catch those exploiting the best way you can do it is to report any cheating or inappropriate behavour via the channels that ZOS already have.

PC Gamer wrote an interesting article recently on exploits and cheating, and it certainly opened my eyes as to the scale of what company's like ZOS face when eliminating exploits and cheating.

The article is here if you are interested: pcgamer.com/hacks-an-investigation-into-aimbot-dealers-wallhack-users-and-the-million-dollar-business-of-video-game-cheating/

I know it is easier said than done when you see players cheating and your frustration levels are rising, but the best way to help is to report it with as much evidence as possible and send it via the channels ZOS has and above all ....

    Stay calm
    and have a cuppa tea,
    with proper dunking biscuits.

Remember it is just a game, not real life.

    Peace and respect.

i used to moderate the game as a player mod in runescape, we had rules to follow where if we abused our power we had it removed. i had my status for years before i no longer played, even got a free poster as a 1 year thank you
PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

I don't think there is any reason for it to be an official thing and we already have members of the community willing to handle things and that do.

If it's taking members of the community and giving them additional powers to handle cases of stuck characters or things that support generally do I think this would be too much for ZOS to police considering they already seem to lack the ability to oversee some parts of their structure.

Those that want to help players can do so simply by helping people on the forums or starting learner guilds aimed at helping players through their first months in the game before they move on to other guilds and final gameplay stuff.
