Is the Db storyline any good?

Just curious as i haven't even stepped foot into the gold coast yet.

Db was my favourite missions in both Oblivion and Skyrim and i usually really love their storylines.

But this games quest lines are pretty bad, usually boring, repetitive etc.. No real feeling added to quests, you basically just kill someone, collect other stuff and such for a NPC.

Without any spoilers is the DB worth doing, is the story good with and plot twists? Or is it just another disappointing DLC like every DLC has been.

Also do you unlock many collectibles, costumes, pets, etc..,? Via doing it, if you unlock quite and bit i'll likely just do it anyway even if it's bad,

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

    Not bad.
I liked some of the side quests better than the guild line, but it was good.

    Depends on what you like.

If everything has disappointed you so far I wouldn't expect you to like it.

The storyline was okay and I do like Elam (the one you turn in the Marked for Death contracts to), he has a very dark sense of humor that I just love. I found that most of the DB characters were just too unbelievably sloppy for an Assassin guild and once again there are "choices" in the DB questline that don't make a lick of difference as to an ending of said quest. There might be one that makes a difference, but most don't.
However, the side quests in the area, especially when you unlock the last one, is pretty awesome and does have more real consequences to your choices. Plus hints at the end of said quest as to another possible DLC storyline coming that was also hinted at the end of the Wrothgar main Storyline.

DB has a few good things like the short visit to black marsh. But most of it is boring and just kill this innocent, murder that innocent. The one big thing DB brings are the brutal killer animations, throat cutting, stabbing and such. Some like it, some don't. I subbed for the crafting bag, so I didn't need to buy it. And I definitely won't. 2000 crowns is just to much for such a small DLC.

I'm taking a small step away from Flawless vMA runs and crazy PvP/PvE endgame to play my low level Stamina Sorc.

The Gold Coast is pretty much all being completed in first person, and so far the main story quest seems pretty good imo. I know that I am having a lot of fun, in a very casual and classic TES sense.

Revisiting Anvil and simply seeing Kvatch was enough for me to love this DLC!

It's pretty solid. The contracts can get a bit repetitive. Get a contract, fast travel to location, kill target, travel back, rinse and repeat. However the story is enjoyable. Definitely better than thieves guild IMO.

it is the only dlc i dont buy...i hate even DB it was big dissapoitment to me....and sadly it was the only DLC i was hopping that everything would be great in the game...such as : bugs, lags, frame rates, cheats, class balances, but all of them got worse...

i dont know should i hope everything will go good or like now will go worse:(

Really? Hmm, I liked the TG storyline better, and the side stuff was definitely more entertaining. DB is just 'travel, kill some poor sap with an insta-kill, travel back' which is made all the worse with the random disconnects from attempted fast-traveling ...
