what would get me to subscribe to ESO plus? Speed/Mass-crafting

I just spent a good 2 hours mashing my finger on R crafting poisons and potions to burn my excess mats I never use to vendor it all. When it came to cooking to get rid of my excess ingredients that just stockpiles I knew I couldn't take it, I finally caved in and downloaded the multicraft addon to make 4g and 5g recipes in mass numbers; it was a breeze watching this thing pump them out so efficiently of what would have taken me at least 4-5 hours to complete and possibly a destroyed R key in the process. I could always rebind it to something else, not an option for console players, you burn out a button spring and its gone forever. Tried it on mass crafting enchanting glyphs to help an alt level up, and it made them as fast as you could deconstruct glyphs instead of waiting for it to call out the name each and every time before it creates one.

This I don't get why can we deconstruct things so quickly, but it takes such a long time to create a single item and it gets more frustrating when you need to do it multiple times. Other games have mass crafting as a DEFAULT feature allowing you to make dozens at a time without any additional input from you, while others have bulk crafting items when you set like 20 it makes all 20 at once. Even if we don't have the create multiple feature, FAST crafting where spamming the button repeatedly would be a welcomed bonus. I would love to create 30 glyphs just as fast as it would take me to deconstruct them with a rapid push of the button instead of it having to go through this name calling process to produce 1 glyph; same goes with food, pots, and equipment.

For someone who is an altaholic player, and likes to craft their own things, a feature like this which you expect from the base game would be an awesome incentive to subscribe. To be able to create multiple items at once or be able to spam a button and have it create them quickly.

Meaning and value of crafting and the items it produces is subjective... it's going to differ from person to person. Meaning and value should not be in the time it takes for the action to complete in game. The meaning and value should only come as the end result of the craft itself... when it furthers the goals of its craftsman. THAT is where it counts. Just my thoughts.

No, it doesn't have to be sub-based at all, it's just a feature that would get someone like me to subscribe. Even the crafting bag isn't something that is going to sway me over, instead I just bought crowns to purchase 4 more character slots.

I can't help with that. You have a choice to play on a platform with addons, or one without. No point getting upset if you choose a platform without.

The irony... I was going to add a comment to my other post saying not to bother with the old "then you should play it on PC" response but thought I would be the better person and left it off. SMH

It's a hard answer, it may be that I'm an active WoW player and when you go from one game to another, there are some base-game features you take for granted until you experience it differently in another game. I am still subbed to WoW, and with their recent Token system I'm actually paid off until September 2018. I got 3 year subscription paid off with in-game currency instead of real money. Another benefit behind it is if you choose not to buy any of their expansions, playing just the base game, any time a new expansion is on the horizon all players automatically get the last expansion for free unlocked before the latest one comes out. It's the little things that I'm happy it is there, things you expect to be there.

I know that probably didn't answer your question, but I expect when you subscribe to a game there needs to be some basic standards that you expect to be a bare minimum feature that needs to be there.

    @phaneub17_ESO

For me, I've played MMO types since the 1990's as that's when I got high speed Internet.
So for me and what I expect on a subscription is "access to play the game".

    That's it!
That's the incentive, so in games where to access the game a sub is not required I look at it as throwing away money not because of how I perceive any benefits of a sub in this case but because, I can just buy access which was the point of a subscription in the 1900's - 2012 largely. It's not to support a game or a dev because there are funds for those who can stand on their own. Also, there are cosmetic and micro transactions that are plentiful but a companies business model is their responsibility to create the financial support needed to run their game. If they fail to do that, then that's on them and not on my to try and somehow assume it needs additional funding.

My standards are....the game works and plays smoothly and doesn't crash, functions work as the tool tip describe and other players have a very similar experience to mine.

I asked because I perceive that you feel as tho access to DLC is not enough so because I don't feel that way, I'm curious to learn why you have that state of expectation from a subscription.

If you are only going to make one of an item then a few seconds spent in actually crafting the thing would seem to have comparatively little impact in the long run.

I find that it is only when I try to make 20, 30 or 50 of something that the time between each becomes an issue. I don't know about you, but when I make 50 of something I feel less like a craftsperson and more like a factory. Perhaps ZOS thought the same way.

Couldnt agree more. It is like adding a buff tracker but making it eso+ only. It is a base game feature. Or should be. But companies do dumb stuff for money.

I subscribed because paying the 14.99 plus tax every month is three points towards my credit rating, and I need to improve my credit. I don't sub to play or anything. Pretty much stopped playing back when they cancelled subs. That was the only straw for me.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

A little off topic, but there is a HUGE difference between having more space via new character slots and having a crafting bag. The crafting bag is account wide. I don't need to log off and on to transfer items among alts. I don't have to track which alt has what mats, or how many mats I have. It doesn't matter which alt gets my hireling mails, because they all go to the same place, my craft bag. When I craft something, I know exactly how many mats I have, and I don't have to switch alts if some mats are not on my current alt. This post is about the convenience of creating multiple items (and I agree this should be a basic feature, not just an add-on), and while the unlimited craft bag space is nice, the easy access is a huge convenience. I already had a sub, and considered ending it, but the craft bag make the sub worthwhile.

Be careful with multicraft. Zos has, does and will ban players for using it. Why is anybody's guess... Seems other things the community actually WANTS to be banned are let go *cough* but yes, I'd play it safe and not install it.
