I agree with what you're saying here, but at the same time it's a "small" DLC like Thieves Guild was, so in my mind they get a bit of a pass on not being able to have just more content. If it was priced like Orsinium, it would be another story.Yes, I do like it. I do have some criticisms, however.
I wish DB (and TG) had been integrated more into the existing zones, rather than all the main questlines taking place in the new zones, or a teleport to an area of Black Marsh etc/ - I wanted to stop and look around, and be able to go back there after the quest had finished. I also wish the new zones had been a bit bigger, maybe another couple of delves and world bosses each.
So yes I liked it, but thought it was a bit lacking in terms of integration into the game, which could have been handled a lot better.
I think on balance, I should have voted "Kinda" because although I like what is there, it could have been better.

To everyone complaining about class balance. What are you talking about?
They changed like 3 things that don't even make a substantial difference besides the fact that sorcs arnt super op.

You like the Dark Brothehood Dlc though - the stuff you didn't like is the base game patch?
I don't care for new quests, didn't even finish Orsinium quests and haven't started TG.
I like new sharpened and training traits, more chances for set drops in ICP/WGT is nice too. I like the crafting bag and maybe some other 2-3 things which came with the patch.
I hate 100000 new bugs and ESPECIALLY the broken light attack animation, I also hate that major game updates are tied to the DLCs.
So if it were possible I'd reverted the changes to have more stable gameplay, even if I had to give up some nice stuff, which isn't part of the DLC anyway, but base game update.
Major game updates are not 'tied' to the dlcs - you get the base game update regardless of whether you buy the dlc or sub to get it or just ignore it. Unless I misunderstood what you mean...

I mean the dates of major updates. If we want lots of balance changes we have to wait for the new DLC and the game will probably be broken again when it comes.
It seems that ZOS is having trouble keeping up with a complete zone every quarter -- Imperial City was basically the size of two or three group dungeons, Wrothgar was the size of about two base game zones, then Abah's Landing and Gold Coast were each roughly half the size (or under) of a base game zone. We aren't getting a new zone at all for Q3. Vvardenfell is rumored to be in the works (I'm betting it's comparable in size to Wrothgar), but I don't believe we know how big Murkmire or Clockwork City are intended to be. It's got me thinking. So yes I liked it, but thought it was a bit lacking in terms of integration into the game, which could have been handled a lot better.
The story itself was enjoyable. I like the natural pacing that occurs when the quest progression is locked to your guild rank -- it was like this for Mages and Fighters Guilds, too, but you leveled those skills up so fast it was hardly noticeable. I appreciate the pace more in Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood.
The dialogue could have been tighter. NPCs throwing rhetorical questions back at me, getting told my character's response instead of making it, that sort of thing. Not as polished as the Thieves Guild dialogue, but stronger characterization than Orsinium.
The zone and delves are beautiful. They really take me back to Oblivion. I can see myself spending a lot of time here. Also liked getting to catch up with some fan favorite characters.
I've committed to really taking my time with new content instead of rushing through it, and that may be impacting my enjoyment of this DLC, but I had a grand old time with the Dark Brotherhood itself and now I'm enjoying slowly making my way across the zone as I explore. With One Tamriel, they could release DLC that was 90% story with a few new dungeons/delves/what-have-you, but otherwise takes place in the zones that already exist. I can see how their hands were tied for TG and DB, since any quest that took them to another province required a different version for each alliance, but if we're now free to move about the continent, that requirement no longer exists. Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but I'd be happy to play a DLC that took place in the world as it already exists, so long as it was well done.
You're right. If anything, Vvardenfell should be more Cyrodiil-sized.If the entire of Vvardenfell is condensed into a zone the same size as Wrothgar, I'm going to cry. That would possibly be my breaking point with this game. I am in no hurry for Vvardenfell to be honest, in some ways I'd rather see new areas first - but if the entire of Vvardenfell is condensed into a Wrothgar sized zone, I am going to be horrified. I'd prefer that one to be released in episodes if they cannot do it justice in one dlc.
