Sorry if there's another thread floating around (I didn't see one):

"Speaking to IGN, game director Matt Firor confirmed that an Argonian Dungeon Pack and character customising barber shop would arrive in August, while the much-requested addition of player housing would be added in "the first quarter of next year"."

    I find it weird that it is coming in two months and that is all the info we have on it.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Would have thought that ZOS would make a bigger deal about the release date of barbershop, considering it's such a requested feature.

    Argonian Dungeon Pack. I had heard something about cradle of whatsit from a datamine thread so that's one, perhaps Veteran Arx Corinium is another? I sure hope so!

    Much rather a proper DLC, but all you people moaned for a stupid appearance change and now it seems to be the priority over a proper DLC

    I find August to be a little weird too. First, will it be a non-dlc release. When have we ever had anything big like barbershop released outside of a dlc? Unless it's only on the cash shop. Next, it it were a dlc feature, is August even the month the dlc would release? It would release a month later for consoles anyway. I'm not keeping my hopes up. They've made promises they didn't keep before: i.e. console text for DB and housing for 2016.

    God-dammit. I can't help but feel that the devs need a break. It always seems to be go go go over there and we end up left with bugs, oversights, and the same inefficient and broken mechanics we've been putting up with since release.

    Didn't they mention around the time of TG patch that they would sticky a thread and work on many quality of life changes after DB? I'm sure they did. Maybe they will come good on that and i'm just being hasty but, man, I feel the game needs it almost.

    Anyone know why were figuring out this big info from Matt in a totally "oh yeah byw forgot to add were doing this" kind of matter? No mention of Barbershop/GROUP DUNGEONS at E3 or ESO Live but they say it in this random interview.....

    I have to be brutally honest, when I found this out this morning (by accident) I was quite annoyed. We weren't told anything - and still haven't been as far as I can see. I feel a bit... I can't think of the word >.<

    well to be fair ZOS said quake con was going to be there announcements and what not, so I expect more then.

    as far as barber shop, about flipin time, games been out over 2 years and we have had NO post character creation appearance editing tools in all that time, sheesh.
    ESO player since beta.
    previously full time subscriber, beta-2024, game got too disappointing.

    Yep, they are probably trying to keep it on the dl so less people freak out about it when it doesn't happen lol. Honestly I'd prefer text chat on console before a barber shop but being that PC already has text chat, I guess text will have to wait until a dlc pack comes along.

    I know,right? Those devs are always being pushed to produce this,produce that,etc.And without appreciation.
    Like they're squirrels in a roller cage!
    I just wish people would give them time to do things and not always be disappointed like infants when they dont get what they want,..when they want it.
    And when they DO get that rushed thing,they whine when it doesnt work right.
