Covenant's/Pact's/Dominion's Axe change

I spent 600k AP with the Elite Vendor and managed to get a Sharpened Covenant's Axe with the Power enchantment which gave 696 power (legendary). Since the new patch today it has gone to the standard enchantment of 348 weapon/spell. So basically I spent 600k AP and then 8 Tempering alloy to get a weapon that offers me no benefit over a crafted non set weapon. I spent the 600k AP etc over the weekend so what irritates me is that changes must have been planned prior to the weekend for today's patch but we weren't told so were left to basically waste money/items.

@herbster So I'm guessing you are on pc right? They still haven't patch fixed this yet on console. No point in trying to buy them then i guess.1
