Anyone know where nirnhoned weapons drop(if there is a specific place)? I'm leaving for vacation and that's the last bow trait I need researched so I want to take advantage of being away for 2 weeks.
You have to complete the last main quest of Craglorn to get 1 random piece of gear with the Nirnhoned trait.
They did add Nirnhoned to Leaderboard rewards as well with DB though so that's another way to get it.
The only really reliable way of getting Nirnhoned is to buy it from guild traders or have someone that has the trait craft it for you.
They drop on guild traders for about 23-25k ea. At least on the NA:PC/Mac server.
There is the final Craglorn quest that grants a single random Nirnhoned piece of gear to research. That's it. The whole idea was that learning Nirnhoned for all armor and weapon pieces was a collaborative group effort. People got their one trait, learned it, and then shared it with others. After a period of time, all the traits would be learned and passed around. So in reality, the only reliable way to learn the Nirnhoned trait on armor and weapons is to have another player craft it for you.
I'm 9-trait in woodworking, so feel free to contact me in game should you be in the NA PC server.
Thanks for the help. I have a guild member that will craft one for me, how much does a nirn stone go for now a days. I'm on Xbox na
Not sure for you since PC seems to have very different prices, but it's in the 19-20k range for a potent nirncrux on PC NA. Just shop around in a bunch of cities and grab the cheapest one.
Is there a thread that lists all drops for nirnhoned weapons? I know the quest in Craglorn does. But I’m not sure if dsa and vma both do. Are there other trials that do?
I've got a couple pieces from vSS back when my guild was doing trials early in the morning. I'm getting rusty by now...

I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
