templar skill activation issue

I left the game for a long time, due to irl things, and then came back.
now Im having issues with my templar.
a max lvl magica templar, but for some reason it seems like its bugged, atleast light/heavy attacks and dark flare, even when targeting a mob, I have to press on the mouse atleast twice before I get an attack away (destr staff), same with dark flare, I have to press it twice, or sometimes more times before anything happens, really anoying, first I thought it was an addon bug or something, but its the same with all addons removed, and its only on the templar I have this issue, not on any of my other chars/classes. just for the sake of it, to rule out a char specific issue, I made a new templar, same problem there, ms is low, so its not a latency issue, and I have no idea why Im having this problem on the templar, but it does make playing it a pain..
anyone else having the same problem, or know whats causing it?

    I have this same issue on console, trespasser abilities seem to have done sort of internal cooldown that interferes with weaving, especially dark flare and reflective light. It makes things more than a little frustrating.

    yeah, atm I dont play my templar at all because of it, it would make more sense if it was mid combat, while pressing several buttons etc, but for me atleast, its like that even before I enter the fight, having to press twice on the mouse or kebind for dark flare, while not in combat, irritating, but even worse while in combat, having to spam buttons just to get the attack/spell away once, or I just stand there, doing noting, and its not like I can skip using the staff and those skills as a caster, and I dont like stamina builds so..

    Some of the Templar's spells like Dark Flare requires you to have your weapon unsheathed before you can cast it, not all classes or all spells have this issue it's very inconsistent about which ones do and which ones don't have this requirement.

    hmm, strange requirement and that would explain why its like that before I enter combat atleast, but not why its the same while in combat and the weapon is unsheathed, must be something bugged with that system then, thanks for the insight
