I wonder which specifications these poisons have?- Is there any information about those yet?-

The question is how good are those compared to those which can be crafted in game?- The least we would need is a pay2win item in the crown store.

They confirmed in the new Db ESo is indeed a P2W game bc of poisons.

here is the exact quote from the latest patch notes:

    Crown Store
    General
Rebalanced the durations for Crown Poisons to ensure that they are not more powerful than the equivalent crafted poison.

... They made sure that the purchasable poisons are no stronger than crafted poisons, plus they only (currently) offer damage - I tested and could craft superior damage poisons. How is this P2W?

Apologies if you were being sarcastic, couldn't pick up on your tone.

Nah, if they make sure, that the crown store poison is not more powerful, that is not pay to win then. Pay to win is, when you can buy something what is more powerful and cannot be acquired by ingame means.

The crown vesion is weaker than the ones which can you craft.
Also the real strong poisons are those which increase cost of skills ( pvp )

Ok, then all is fine, I just wanted to make sure, that poison-making has actual value and is not overshadowed by crown store poisons.

    No No NO...

P2W is giving craft bags to subbers.

Like the potions, buying poisons is a convenient but lesser effective thing. crafting is still top dog.

Seems like mostly, poisons baseline economy aspects match up well with potions, by design.

    looking forward to tuesday night.

You better use it, in just written form it is often hard to find out, if something is meant to be sarcastic or not.

This is that slippery slope people are always warning about. These poisons effect other players....Which is a component of P2W. Id say its not completely crossing that line. But its concerning to see them pushing that limit.

Yes, I would have liked it more, if they would just sell oils and not ready to use poisons. Much like they sell malachite and not ready to use glass armors. I guess, that is a matter of greed - they see, that a lot will need these poisons to stay competitive, but not all are interested to learn a craft just to be that - and this will now be exploited - that is my opinion on that. But on the bright sight, ZOS was reasonable with the character slot pricing this time - even not offering a discount for all 4 slots in one go is again a greedy decision and they might sell less than they expect - at least I consider now to just take 1 or 2 slots, whereas I would have taken all 4 if those would be at a package price of 4000. So they will miss out on that extra money.

ZOS is suffering from greed, that is why they make sometimes that poor decisions.
