I don't enjoy when people throw this term around but he's right. Any item which will benefit combat should not be sold for real money. Weapon traits fall into that category. Changing a Kena from a useless trait to something like divines would be awesome, but should not be sold in crownstore.

staracino_ESO✭✭✭✭If they were to implement a way to change traits, I would want it do be done by the player with their crafting skill, not by an NPC. The best (and simplest) idea that I have seen is to make a trait change cost a large amount of the target trait stone (sapphire for divines) and perhaps some other rare ingredient. I cannot even fathom the amount of traits stones that are currently in circulation, or even worse, the amount that have been vendored/destroyed.1 -

I dont use this term lightly either. But it fits in this case. In-game trait reforging is a completely different matter. Id expect it to be absurdly expensive, but it would help a lot with the absurdly stacked RNG in ESO.P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.0 -

✭✭Your well meant idea here could easily be misconstrued as Pay to Win,as it changes weapon and armor traits.
Once this sot of thing happens,it could go on from there.Changing ingame things like those two isnt a good idea.
Just my opinion though.0
